Toxical, I was willing to give us another chance, but when I walked in and saw you lounging on the couch with those electrodes attached to your abs, I knew we weren\'t meant to be.

But seriously, L-I-C, it was very wise not to rush into a serious relationship.  7 months seems like a reasonable timespan to realize what your true feelings are.  It\'s a good sign that she invited you to meet her parents, and that she was willing to have a civilized conversation with you about her date.  If it turns out that she\'s more interested in this other guy, you\'ll be grateful that you maintained emotional distance for the first part of the relationship.
