The launch looks good so far.  Silent hill 2, onimusha, doa3, sega gt 2, and JSR:F are enough for me.  Whoa 20 games not bad.........:thepimp:

DAMN! Them are some good launch games, especially Silent Hill 2 and Sega GT2. I can\'t belive how much support is going into X-Box. Looks like PS2 has some serious, serious compitition.

Those aren\'t all launch games, those are just the announced games.

Anyways, that least is extremely unimpressive. I\'m seriously not interested in any of them besides SH2, which is coming to PS2 first.

Come on Jumpman, you can\'t tell me your at least a little impressed with X-Box getting games like RR6,DOA3,SH2 and all those great Sega games? Don\'t get me wrong, PS2 is going to have just as much or even more killer apps. then X-box but aleast X-box is giving PS2 some nice healthy compitition, and I think thats great.

but the x box will not do well internationally. it will flop in japan, and the userbase in america with the ps2 is already challenging.

they better find a very good reason to buy a x box. sh2 is already going to be on ps2, and that was probably the best game in the lineup. halo died when it was announced that it wouldnt be online.

microsoft mustve had some problem with the x box in order to have to pull it back in japan, although it really dosent matter with japan, so somthing is going on.

Beats the crap out of gamecube crappy japenese launch.  What?  3 games at launch.......luigi manision, wave racer, and monkey ball.  Thats launch sucks.  Xbox is going to rule!!!!!!!!!!:thepimp: :thepimp:

That list isn\'t very impressive, IMO.  Most of the games that you see as gems are already going to be on PS2.  I think those quirky fashion sims or whatever that mess is will do better... but I\'m sure they already have those games (Either the exact same games, or games of that type) on PS2.

The only games that I personally see as good on that list are SEGA\'s games, and I\'m sure that they\'ll be ported eventually.

Raslant, that point is completely moot.  By the time the XBox launches, the GC will have been out in Japan for 5 months with more games available by that time.  I\'ll make a guess that GC at the extreme minimum will have the same amount of games that XBox will win it launches in Japan.

I\'m glad the XBox isn\'t launching in summer in Japan.  I honestly believe it would be murdered since Mario Sunshine is scheduled to come out then.

That is a very good point, and I feel the same way too. Since the Xbox is easier to develope for, therefore cutting down dev costs and time invested, it will be interesting to see how  the same games that are launched simultaneously for each console compare to one another, a la Blood Omen 2, as the Xbox version will have more features and better graphics. I wonder, as we get farther and farther into both the consoles\' life cycles will this advantage result in future shared titles being released on the Xbox first? That is if the Xbox\'s userbase begins to even out with the PS2\'s userbase. Personally since I will eventually get a PS2 also, I will probably get all the shared titles on Xbox only and get the Ps2 just for it\'s exclusive titles that you can\'t get anywhere else.

Not at all, Microsoft just pays them money to develop games. Sorry, but I see nothing impressive with that. Besides, the actual games that they\'re getting is also very unimpressive. They should go for the good ones.

I mean, RR6? No one gives a ****. DOA3? I rather take a pee. JSRF? Nah, give me some hooters. Ok, so my rhyming skills are attrocious, but you get the point.

I\'m sorry guys but that release list looks awesome! Dead to rights as an exclusive, Sega GT 2002, Jet Grind future, WOW! I\'m thoroughly impressed! If Microsoft can keep this momentum going through TGS, they\'re gonna be in really good shape. The Xbox right now looks like the system that\'s going to be sitting right beside my ps2 come christmas time. Microsoft is busting their asses to make sure that we gamers get all the exclusive support possible for the xbox, and I\'m loving it!

wELL jumpan you have every rite to like or dislike the software. But compared to nintendo\'s software so far:rolleyes: Xbox is kicking ass. The games just keep on being added makes the purchase worth while.
