Nah, man, when you go through as Jill, you see him there, and he\'s already dead. In RE2, an entire 2 days later, he\'s alive, and not a zombie. He goes Zombie after Leon/Claire see him as a human, two days after Jill sees him dead:)

Black Cop isn\'t dead in RE3. He is "mortally wounded". Basically, almost dead. In fact, if you go to that spot in the police station later on, he is gone. Now, why is the station boarded up, few cops, and why Raccoon City isn\'t crawling with zombies...programmer laziness. Also, they didn\'t want RE3 to be another RE2. So, they had to cut off as much of the police station in order not to have that "been here done that" feel. Of coarse, there are story plot holes, but thats a whole other topic all together.

Wow, I didn\'t think anyone would care about this thread.

As for the black cop in Resident Evil 2 & 3. He was mortally wounded in Resident Evil 2 yet dead in Resident Evil 3, which makes zero sense because Resident Evil 3 takes place before Resident Evil 2, correct? It should also be noted that his body has been moved by someone in Resident Evil 3 . In Resident Evil 2 , he is near a locker in the front of the room. In Resident Evil 3, he is dead and in the side-office. Very valid point, Weltall.

I will agree, that RE:CV is truly a side-story it just seems as though it is a better sequel than Resident Evil 3  - which was just terrible, in my humble opinion. I do agree also that I think it was just a way to fill in some plot holes.

No...did you click on the the Black dude\'s body in RE3? It said he was mortally wounded (litterally said that, don\'t believe me, load up RE3 and click on him). Not dead. Now...how he survived long enough to RE2 (which supposed to take place 24 hours after RE3 first half) if he was mortally wounded ...beats me. Capcom isn\'t known for realism you know.

I will agree that, in that terms, Claire looking for her brother, is a side story in the scenes that its not the main "bring down Umbrella" story, but at the same time, we find out a lot about Umbrella in RE:CV (like the co-founders of Umbrella, and potentially, a company that will be a continued threat if Umbrella were to fall [the company Wesker now works for]). However, RE2, Claire looking her brother again, Leon, all he is was just a rookie cop, both got mixed in this mess thanks to Umbrella\'s accident. Sure, we get things like who made the T-Virus etc. but other then that, not much different in terms of advacing the story then RE:CV. RE3...Jill\'s escape. Found out what happen to Raccoon City...maybe a little more on the doings of Umbrella, thats about it.

Oh, and Wesker, in this pic from the FMV intro of RE1, his hair is blond.
....well, the stupid site won\'t allow me to view the screenshot here. I will try to find another one.  But his hair is blond.

[edit]Now, a few things I didn\'t cover in my first reply, that I want to say now.
Jill not being the brightest person in the world. Well, RE1 is...ummmmm...one of the corniest games in terms of acting I have ever seen. Afterall, who can forget wonderful pharses like "Jill DON\'T Open THAT door!" Or "Jill, you almost became a Jill sandwitch!" Hahahehehoho.

Steve changing. Thats one of the known differences between RE:CV original and RE:CVX. Why they change it? I don\'t know. Probably to make him look less like Leonardo DiCaprio (which I keep hearing).

As for RE0, well, first heard about it, more plot holes from Capcom. Afterall, Rebecca, like the other charecters, don\'t appear to know what they are going into. Yet, if Rebecca had a mission before hand, then she must\'ve known something, right? Now, I can\'t say much more then that since, Capcom has yet to release more info on the game.

Why is his hair brown in the actual game then?!?
Load the game up and you\'ll notice his actual ingame graphic is brown. Weird, very weird.

By the way - I checked the black cop and you are right Sim. Good work, man.

In RE2, Mr. Black Cop (who by all rights should be dead by now;)) tells you to go get the survivors. He seems to barely have enough energy to keep his gun pointed at you. So you leave, and as soon as you do, Mr. BC somehow garners enough strength to jump up, run over to the door (which is a good 8-10 feet from where he was laying), and lock it, then stumble over to the office where he meets his zombied end. Quite a feat for a guy who was unconscious and mortally wounded the day before, yes? :)

Also, in RE3 he is mortally wounded... yet in that same room there are a bunch of zombies. Why aren\'t they eating Black Cop Man?

Well like I said, Capcom isn\'t known for its "realism". ;)

I noticed that, too.

And there are some plot problems with RE BETA (0.5) and RE 1.5. But the games aren\'t out so it\'s no big deal.
