I no longer like Resident Evil :(

I\'m starting to hate Code Veronica too..... Cause I can never get anywhere in the beginning..... Those zombies are suddenly faster than I last remember..... Also I noticed the gun doesn\'t auto-aim for some freakin reason....
See here\'s how it goes in Veronica:
First I meet that Steve dude..... and get a gun.... with I think 30 bullets....(keeping in mind about 5-8 bullets per zombie) I go into the first room up on that deck looking thing..... I kill all zombies... After seeing how fast the zombies were.... then I left that room.... went into another.... 5 zombies surrounding me...... Whoops.... outta bullets.... DEAD.... So I can\'t get anywhere....
.... take the skin and peel and back...

now doesn\'t it make you feel better?

Welcome to the world of "survival horror". You are wasting bullets, Ajoh. You don\'t shoot every zombie, I\'m sorry. Infact, you dodge most of them or kill them with your knife, if you must have them dead. If you want to kill them with your knife, you need to equip it, aim towards the ground and wait for the zombie to come towards you. Once he starts to lunge, you swipe his legs. This will take some practice, but once you get it down you\'ll be able to take the zombies down without a problem and without wasting your bullets.

Also, anytime you get a better gun in Code Veronica it is usually a good idea to conserve it for bigger enemies than zombies. Same with health sprays, don\'t use them. Use herbs and not single herbs. Mix the herbs and when you\'re on danger you should then use them.  By the end of the game, you should have enough for an army.

Conserve your ammo and health. It is survival horror.

Actually, I think after the first "boss" the game is pretty much straight forward and simple.

well,  my argument is that the RE style puzzles such as: "push a lever and go back to a previous room and push another lever that opens the door in the 5th floor" is pretty damn boring already....i like puzzles like the 7th guest and such...there are lots of puzzles that can be put into a survival horror game that dont involve you running around from room to room pushing levers or placing stones and shields in sockets....and i just wish capcom and the other companies that make these type of games would be a bit more creative and come up with some more innovative puzzles instead of the same old thing with better graphics....

(i was sad to hear that alone in the dark 4 was this way....cause damn i wanted that game....)

The First Person mode is in "Battle Mode" a mini-game you get for beating the actual game.

I love the RE series.  Even though as of late it does seem to be running a little low.  But the idea for CV was very good.  The people at Capcom have a great storyline.  I haven\'t played CV, but I have played the others.

is CVX the same as CV, but on Psx 2?  I can\'t wait until RE0 and RE 4 come out.

It has 10 mintues extra footage that the DC version does not have, so if you have never played CV and love RE then you should pick it up.

Don`t kill all of them , just shoot one or two to free your way and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE !
Or you could play hardcore style and use the knife :D

Yup, don\'t kill all of them. I made the mistake of shooting every zombie I\'ve seen. The problem here is...
A: I\'m running low on ammo which is better spent on tougher enemies.
and
B: Two annoying places. The one at the graveyard and the one just out side that area (where the double doors are to the path towards the mansion and the rest of the prison). Here, the zombies keep respawning. In essenes, wasting tons of ammo on zombies that will just keep coming back.

RE:CVX is one of the few RE games (if not, the only) that I\'ve played where the knife isn\'t a complete POS. Especially useful to aviod completely running out of ammo.

While big changes to the series might hurt the core of the game, little things like dodge and stuff (that was in RE3) could ultimately add to the game. Now, for RE3, maybe less action would be in place for the more hardcore RE fans, but otherwords, IMO, good game with the gameplay changes. That dodge button would certainly have been useful in RE:CVX though. And less backtracking would\'ve been nice too.
Opinions are not important.

Ok I met Steve the second time now..... I put that eagle thing in the machine..... Now what....? I\'m currently running around in Danger with no sprays or herbs...... I think I should restart this game from the beginning.... Cause I wasted my time in a lot of places.. and used up herbs....I think I have to do something with that fire extinguisher but I don\'t know what..... I\'ve been saving ammo though... which is good!:D

Resident Evil rule, if it doesn\'t dissappear, you probably need it later. This holds true with the extinguiser (however, its not needed in the area I\'ve been to so far so, don\'t worry about it right away (keep it in the magic item boxes for now). The part I\'m currently stuck at, I\'ve got crystal bug from the room above Alexia and her bros room. I might have to load from an earlier save game for me anyways though since I didn\'t realize when you give that prison gaurd guy that medicine, you lose the lighter. Which I discovered later, in one room of the mansion, there is a fire place with plently of logs to burn. No lighter, no light. :(

You\'ll find your first storage box, by making it to the first mansion. Go up the stairs and then to your right up a few steps into a door, where a typerwriter and storage box is at . There is also a room that requires two golden lugers.
