The X-Box Flood Gates Have Opened...

blah, blah, blah. This topic is pointless, as NOBODY is making you buy X-Box in a bundle.

In fact, I will bet my 1989 classic gameboy that I am able to get an X-Box on launch day with the games I want and accessories I want, without preordering.

Any takers?

You guys whine too much.

Eric Jacob

btw, my local babbages required a 3 game buy-in of their PS2 bundles, and THEY chose what games were in it, not the consumer.
A funny gesture.

KB where I live, requires that you fill out a Customer Intrest card for ethier XB or Cube, I want XB bad, and hopefully I\'ll have a job before it comes out. The job i got now isn\'t going to tide me over, only making 40 bucks a week. I really want XB, but my mom would kill me if i bought another console, but i say, HELL WITH WHAT SHE SAYS. I don\'t know about the demand for XB in my town, but from the looks of it, and talking to the manager, Cube and XB are even.

Come to mention it, I\'m going to fill out one of those customer intrest cards today, and ask how many inquires they\'ve had about XB. And if they are going to OVER charge like they did for PS2.
R.I.P SNK.

I thought bundles all together where a bad idea. I did not get a PS2 bundle... but Sony had an alternative to these bundles (you could get a system by itself) looks like Microsoft doesn\'t... I planned on getting an xbox for $299, with one or 2 games. None of the $600 crap... I\'ll have to wait. But I am going to get a gamecube

Toys R Us, KMart, WalMart, Target, etc, etc, etc.

These stores do not require preordering! Quit *****ing to hide the fact that you don\'t really want the X-Box.

Like I said, I will have an X-Box on launch day without a preorder, after all, I don\'t like the idea of having to preorder.

I agree. These are ONLINE bundles. You don\'t have to actually preorder your system when you walk into the store. Gamestop out here in colorado has been taking xbox preorders for a while and they don\'t require a bundle, you can just get the system.

And I also agree that I won\'t be doing a preorder either. I\'m gonna camp out and wait for my system outside walmart down the street here. It just makes it a lot more fun and exciting in my opinion.

I\'m gonna be videotaping it too.

Very true. My K\'B\'Toys also made people buy bundles for the second shipment of PS2\'s. I thought it was a dumb move then and I still think it is. But like you said, come launch day, I\'m sure you\'ll be able to walk in somewhere and pick one up.
