looking good!

Best battle system ever.

Ending is a let-down. Game is 30 hours, tops.

My advice - wait for SKies of Arcadia to get ported. It is a better all around title.

These do look like good screens.

Grandia 2 kicks major ass. Anyone who calls themselves an RPF fan must buy this game. It\'s awesome. It\'s the best RPG I\'ve played in a LONG time.

I actually know a lot of people who prefered Grandia 2 over Skies Of Arcadia. I can\'t compare the to since I have never come 200 miles within a copy of SOA...(damn Sega)

Judging from those screenshots, it looks like Game Arts actually put some effort into making the PS2 version better looking than the DC version, which already looked great.

Best battle system ever. No random battles. A must own for RPG fans.

Well the first Grandia kicked major a$$. Though I thought that the dungeons got a little tedious at times. I\'ll be sure to pick up this sequel.
Er, excuse me, how much for one of those, uh, prophylactics?..........But I don\'t have a dollar and thirty-five cents!

Grandia 2 and Skies were the two biggest temptations to get a Dreamcast. Now G2 will be on PS2, SWEET!!
Now get Skies to come to the dark side:)

Grandia 2 was one of the reasons i bought a DC. It had a great, fast paced battle system but a weak story line. The dungeon crawling also felt a little monotonous as their was way to many battles IMO. I definatly wouldn\'t say it was better the SOA2 but i came pretty close. Also are there from the Grandia 2 port or the new PS2 only Grandia cause i don\'t remember this stuff from the DC version.

Grandia 2 is good and all but IMO the RPG with the best battle system is Star Ocean 2.

No the backgrounds are not prerendered (I don\'t think they look that good, but good anyways). I\'ve only had a little taster of the DC version (that I own), and boy was it pretty. I haven\'t gotten into it yet, though, with the army eating pretty much all my time and with Skies of Arcadia still unfinished.
