The Fonz, Scarface, Tyler Durtin all possessed that awesome character "coolness".  Do you guys have a vote for a game that just submersed you into a level of absolute cool?  I would have to vote for (even though I only have the demo)  Devil May Cry.  A guy with a big-booty sword and double pistols who turns into an incarnation of hell itself while fighting off blade-weilding baddies, while the whole time he manages not to run away flailing like a little girl but instead reloading he shotgun with the flick of his wrist pumping more rounds into the baddies.  And thats the the character.  The music and the tone of the whole game is just another level.

Second place would have to go to Gran Theft Auto 2.  Where else can you steel british cars, run over people, and make a bomb run all in the same timeframe?

Jet Grind Radio is the most stylish game ever. Not much depth in gameplay, but it\'s got style.

Since Toxical is doing it, I\'ll do it too.

LOL, now that\'s funny. The way I see it, Conkers is nothing more than Mario with a cuss word tossed into every other line of dialouge.. cept with crappier gameplay. It\'s kinda ironic though, that to defeat the "kiddish" image Nintnedo releases a game which makes them look like a 10 year old stand up on a stool and screaming.. "See I can cuss! I\'m a big boy now! I\'m mature!"

It\'s nothing but profanity for profanitys sake. IMO, I don\'t see how anyone beyond the age 16 can find this game funny. And that\'s because there is no structure behind the profianity. My opinion of Rare has sunk considerably after wasting my time with that game.



Most Sylish and cool game IMO? - Gabriel Knight 1, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Sonic Adventure 2. There\'s more, but that\'s all i can think of right now.

Please, like you even gave a **** about Rare or any Nintendo developer to begin with...

Mario with cuss? Now that\'s funny. Not even close. It\'s barely even a platform game. It\'s obvious you never got very far in it(too hard for you?).

Listen, would the game get a 9.9 from IGN if it wasn\'t great? **** no. While I didn\'t find it spectaculary funny, it was still enjoyable and entertaining.

For me, the most recent games I\'ve played that ooze the word \'cool\' would be Jet Set (awesome style and design) and Max Payne.
