Capcom VS SNK2 got a ?/40 from Famitsu!

That\'s right.  Famitsu loved CvsSNK2 so much, they gave it a ? out of 40 points!  While this sign means "question" in english, in Japanese it is a sign of superiority and power!  Cool huh?

No, just kidding.  According to Madman\'s Cafe, both the Dreamcast and PS2 versions got a 35/40.  That score makes me want this game more than ever.  I\'m glad to see a 2D game got a good score from Famitsu.  This will hopefully make other developers go back to 2D. (I know, I know, I\'m really pushing for 2d to come back. )

For all the diehard Street Fighter fans who want to get a head start with this new game, there is a huge preview of this game that gives tons of info on everything in the game.  It goes through every move for every person, every groove, and just about everything else in the game.  It is probably more than 100 pages long! lol.  (It has to be seen to be believed.)  Go to Shoryuken.com to read it.

BTW, I have been trying to navigate through famitsu.com using an online translator, but I can\'t ever find the scores that Famitsu gives games.  If anyone knows where the heck they keep the scores, please direct me in the right direction.

I\'m playing this game tomorrow, A friend of mine Preorder it for his Japanese PS2 and it suppose to arrive today or tomorrow. Hopefully I will be telling you guys how is it in a couple of days.

This game is probably going to be the deepest 2D fighter ever.  With 6 grooves and over 40(?) people to play as, this game will have unlimited possibilities.  The 6 grooves are very cool.  Read about them at the link I gave above.  I think I will use groove N the most because it is the most aggressive.  I will probably use the other grooves a lot too, but when I really want to be a jerk, I\'ll just rush the whole game with N groove.  I just wish it wasn\'t being released the same month as both Devil May Cry and MGS2.  I\'m already spending too much money in November.

WOW!! I just played the game last night and it\'s awesome (Finally that bastard friend of mine decide to give me a call. He was afraid of me kicking his @ss:D). It has great graphics (Especially on the back ground), great playability and different gameplays. We play it for something like 4 hours and we didn\'t finished to explore it all. Hopefully tonight we\'ll play it again and would be able to see it all. It also has a Network option that we don\'t know exactly what it does but is ask you for the hard drive:(.

The graphics, even they were very good, were nothing we have never seen, but the background was spectacular because of a 3D animation. For example there is a stage in the desert were you can see a car heading to you and then jumping over the 2 fighters. It was awesome.

Toxical, the game was not hyped. In fact it make me remember those long nights with my Saturn playing 2D fighting games:D.

There are some new combo movies on the net.  The A groove looks very promising.  It is the same thing as the V-ism groove in SFA3, but you can do supers too.  The C groove is the standard Street Fighter groove.  It\'s like the A-ism groove in SFA3.

Man i WANT this game now! I can\'t stop playing the first at the arcade, also THANKS heaps IronFist i\'ve been looking for new movies of cvss2 for ages, because ign have 4 and gamespot have 1 and that\'s it..

Does anyone know what play modes the console vers. has? (ie. survival, time attack etc...)

Also is there a Tag option in this one?
