Tekken 4 Arcade Machines...
« on: September 12, 2001, 08:51:30 PM »
I\'m lookin\' for some T4 Arcade Machines in the West Michigan area. Close to Grand Rapids. I know theres one in Detroit at Wizzards, but I cant find it anywhere else in Michigan.

Its a 21/2 hour drive from Grand Rapids to Detroit... Gotta find one thats closer. @@; Better yet! Think I can buy one? Who would I have to contact to get one? And how much do you think it\'d cost?

No, I\'ve never entered any of the tournies there because I know I\'ll be slaughtered by all the Tekken vets that go there. :D I\'ve seen a couple of them in action... I dont come close.

What part of Michigan are you in? I\'m guessing Detroit. I\'m in Grand Rapids, and I\'m busy as hell and dont like to drive long distances. :p Thats why I\'m lookin\' for a T4 arcade machine a lil\' closer...

Where is Funcenter?

And finally... Do any of you know how I can buy it?

Catlord got his Tekken 4 machine for $3,000.  Go to http://www.namcoarcade.com and look around for info on how to buy one.

Under the "New Game Information" section there is a Distributor Area link.  This has a list of distributors all over America.  I am assuming you can buy it from one of them.  here\'s a link:

Catlord actually just bought the Tekken 4 board for $3000.  Cabinets with a VGA monitor usually cost $2000+.  Bigger and better cab\'s are obviously more, but worth it imo. :)

For the home user, you might wanna take a look at http://www.massystems.com .  They have better cabinets suited for the home, high quality joysticks that can be configured to plug into every console and PC, and super guns that allow you to plug your arcade board into a standard television set.

There\'s also http://www.happcontrols.com that sells individual arcade parts.  If you\'re looking at sticks, I\'d recommend Supers or Ultimates.
