At last something posetive happens in these dark days, congrats nintendo with your launch. The line up is small, but quality over quantity is the phrase everyone is talking about !

That fourth game listed is not for the NGC.  I think MM listed it to show that it scored higher than all of those NGC games.  And are you sure there are only 3 launch games MM?

For your information, according to several videogame webs, in the NGC launch have been sold about 290,000 consoles: 3 times less than PS2.

Hm. Those are impressive scores to be sure, especially coming from the stingy Famitsu.  But none of those games look terribly exciting to me.  The cutesy, big headed characters don\'t cut it for me anymore.

Although, I\'ll play it eventually and probably love it so what does anything that I have said matter?

It\'s not an astounding Launch but I know that GC has a great potential and beautiful games will come...I don\' care...

I wonder how is it gonna doo seeing how the terrorist affect is being felt around the world? I thought this time nintendo was given more than 3 games for launch oh well as long as they are of that good old nintendo quality.

Hey all you geniouses, lets get a few things strait. The gamecube launch is hella better than what ps2 had to offer. SNK vs capcom is a 2nd generation game guys...No ****, its going to get a higher score. Adan, you genious you, Nintendo didnt go around claiming there machine good make milk and cookies, of course it didnt sell as well at the ps2 at launch. Geesh.

Um, ps2 only had 4 launch games in japan.

That kind of crap is not tolerated around here. Blatant insults are reserved solely for me and Jumpman.

lighten up, 3 games is just that, 3 games. None of which interest me at all. If they had some more, or some more third party games, it could have sold better.

I think even DC sold 260k at launch.

Jetgrind, there is something you don\'t seem to understand.  The NGC is not competing with first generation PS2 games, it is competing with the PS2 games that are coming out right now.  Go ahead and defend the NGC and its launch games all you want, but remember that as long as the PS2 has better games coming out, the PS2 will be a better system.

And Famitsu doesn\'t grade games on what generation they are.  It got a better score because it is a better game in their oppinions, not because it is second generation.  The NGC is supposed to be reletively easy to program for, so that "second generation vs first generation" argument is irrelevant.

I seem to remember a time when PS2 fans were pissing and moaning that the less-than-stellar PS2 launch games were being compared to 2nd and 3rd gen DC software.  All you are doing is being hippocrits on the matter.
