Bin Laden + CIA Connection "Duh"
« on: September 13, 2001, 09:39:36 PM »
Imperial hypocrisy

I’ve seen this government person on tv saying that the CIA might have trained and equipped Bin Laden,
But according to this government official, it was because of Americas good intentions to restore Afghanistan to a democratic country.  Restore??? FROM WHAT??? They were never democratic to begin with.

Now if this person had any brain cells left after downing his happy crack he would have realized that, but since the media let him spew his BS, I’m sure a lot of people watching gobble up his BS.

Did you guys find any other holes in the media today or yesterday??? Please come forward, and share so we may all get re-educated. Or we can all be ignorant. I hear cattle led to slaughter is ignorant.

Osama Bin Laden was trained by the CIA to fight Russians.  That\'s it.  Not much thought given to what came after.  The CIA has proven again and again that they can\'t think that far ahead.

Semantics.

From "restore", he meant to build up in the image of.  Meaning; America had plans of building up Afghanistan in the likeness of a Democratic Republic, much like America itself.

Also, for those of you who are saying, "Duh, America, see how stupid we are now?"  think of what you are saying.  We were trying to HELP those people.  There was NO way of forseeing them trying to bite us in the ass.

I don\'t even want to hear what you have to say about Somalia and Viet Nam, both of which turned into mercy missions gone cluster-****.  Its just the way it happens.  Now we must deal with it.
Let those who stand for tyranny and injustice fear the hell the United States will unleash upon them.

I\'m not saying it was wrong that the CIA trained & equipped Bin Laden, i\'m saying watch out for ignorant people talking on TV, i think TV right now educates everybody instead of reading history books, or just doing your own research.

Tim McVeigh was ex military, trained and sworn to defend America. He blew up 600 people.

What\'s your point?

Just because people are trained by the US you cannot hold the US responsible if those trained killers decide to bite the hand that feeds them. People change/switch sides. What? Now it\'s Americas fault for this ****?

C\'mon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually wasn\'t the death toll from McVeigh less than 200?  I thought it was like 168 or something.

This makes Mc Veigh look like a big puss.

Well, then perhaps you can develop a magical method to determine who will one day use their training against us, and then it won\'t be a problem.

I would appreciate your thoughts on how we can stop any more terrorist attacks on our nation.

Do we we just do nothing and hope that it stops?

Do we arrest the few that are still alive and hope it stops?

Do we hope that they hand over those who are responsible for this and hope it stops?

If it were up to me America would be isolationist as you suggest Toxical.

Unfortunately it\'s the Globalist\'s, One Worlders, agenda. That agenda not only has economic ideals, but military and social as well. The US training and backing foriegn forces is part of the agenda.

i agree with you,
It is the media\'s presentation of the situation that also makes me wonder what people really think or are persuaded to think,
Russians should have come to the USA to learn how to dish out propaganda IMO.

I can\'t believe anyone would really think terrorists bomb us for no reason .... just because they "hate" us.... They don\'t bomb Switzerland, I guess Switzerland does not have global goals.

Holy **** Toxical do you hate America that much??  Every damn thread about America and you have some kind of problem with it!  I can\'t imgaine someone having this much of problem with America if they live there(which I don\'t believe you do).   If you do live in America then you do notice that now is a time to band together not seperate correct?  Ah...never believed you lived here anyway..

ProfessorX, just because he\'s got a different opinion than you doesn\'t mean he\'s lying. Personally I find his angle on the subject refreshing. Even if it\'s a controversial subject I\'m glad to see someone questioning the media\'s role in all this. If you only ever listen to one side of a story you\'ll become ignorant and the media isn\'t exactly known to always being good at objectivity. Sensations sell, as do one-sided stories sometimes. I welcome a little perspective, but maybe that\'s just me (I hope not).

Sam, I think the Prof. is trying to point out the fact that this is not even close to try and pick out America\'s faults, as alot of people are wont to do.  Its like kicking your mom after she just got knocked down at the supermarket.

We can\'t have this kind of attitude right now, as some posters are suggesting that Americans deserved what they got.  We need solidarity.

On the other hand, I can totally see your point.  I myself have fallen victim of the press this morning when I quoted a news source on those other potential terrorists.  Also, you must always gather information, I\'m a big supporter of that.  Educate yourself at all times.

That being said, no matter how much education I get on the background that set the stage here, I will never lose my betrayed and angry feelings when thinking of this event.

Look, i\'m not here to argue with you guys, i\'m not writing this to have a nice super debate, i\'m just writing about the other side of the story, if we love free speech, then correct me on factual items i get wrong, like numbers/dates etc.... don\'t hate me for telling you some history, or of events that might happen. It is just my Opinion, and i don\'t care if you read it and say it is BS, i just want you to know there is another side to everything.

Lets stop hating, but understanding our situation.
