Happy thoughts!
« on: September 13, 2001, 09:47:07 PM »
I know that everyone is still getting over the immense tragedy of the last couple of days, but I think that is it time to begin the healing process. I have felt so depressed lately because of it, and I think its time to think happy thoughts.

THis is such a terrible thing to have happened, but, as we know, these things do happen, and I feel that we shouldn\'t dwell on it too much. I can imagine that most, as have I, have been glued to Fox News and CNN, watching it almost non stop. It is time to begin the mending.

And anyway, my eyes hurt.

My baby just threw up on me.  I was picking him up from the changing table and it was like I hit an eject button on his chest.  All over me.  Nothing smells worse than half digested baby formula.  Can I hear an Amen on that one!

Does that make you happy?  Didn\'t really make me happy, but thought it could lighten up someone elses day.

My daughter is this close (make pinchy gesture) to learning how to crawl.

DAMN!  I wish I had a scanner to show you how cute she is!!

Vid, that is a cute boy you got.  I know, as a new dad, how GREAT babies are!

Jergins, you had your daughter right at the same time as me I think, didn\'t you?  Logan\'s b-day was 2/12..  He is almost about to crawl too.  he gets up on his knees and rocks back and forth.  He stands real well.  He would do better at crawling, but he has always hated being on his tummy.  He\'s hopefully going to be an early walker.

Yeah, Emma was born on 3/22.

Its weird, Emma always hated her tummy too!

That is, until she learned that she could control her rolling!  Man, you gotta keep yer eye on her!

She is learning that she has to get up on her knees to get her places and also has her good days with standing (she ain\'t no expert yet  ;) ).

Its great to hear he\'s doing so well!  I hope Emma does just as well in a month!

Just went in to check on him in his crib and the little guy was sitting up.  This is the first time he has ever sat up on his own.

Houston, we have a problem.

Awwwwwwwwww babies.........

(Quiet) babies are so sweet & cuddly! I simply love them! I love it when they stare at me with their big eyes and their face lights up in a big smile! Heartwarming! Though I wouldn\'t want a baby of my own.

Sorry to inform you but Hawke and me are just friends starting a couple of weeks ago. But I\'m sure he likes cute babies too.

Small, you don\'t know how right you are about "heartwarming". :D

Except, Emma was cranky when I got up from my midnight shift (it WAS close to naptime!) so, I didn\'t get my smile yet today! :(

BUT, I sure will when mommy and baby come home!
