actually if i hear about a draft, im going to sign up for the air force with my friends.

this will be a long and grueling war. it wont be like desert storm, we wont be watching cruise missles hit their targets, we will actually have to go in and find them.

i dont think that this wil be a pretty war.

26 (if really needed)
and so on...

I can honestly say its never even crossed my mind to enlist. I am just not a patriot or whatever, because I would never go to war or die for my country.

In \'91 I was 21 and in college when Desert Storm hit.  I\'m certainly glad to be considered to old and am rendered useless.

I am attending one of the best high schools in the USA. Im going for a 4.0, and trust me, if I want to learn somthing, or do well in somthing. I do. flying has always been a dream for me, and i dont think you need a recommendation (but ill look it up, thanks ). I heard If you do well in flight school,(A\'s) then they will let you fly planes. and also, i wont be doing it outta high school, i will be doing it out of college, and that way you automatially become an officer. so ill get my degree in college( in buisness or law or whatever), fly around for 5 years, get a real job, and make some cash, have a family.  and i dont know what after that.

If a huge war would blow up and one guy from every famely had to go and fight for Canada ..... altough i am not a fighting kinda guy ..... i would volunteer ..... coz i know i am the most useless and with future person !

The US doesn\'t really want total revenge, it\'s also about ending terrorism.  You don\'t have to like us, that\'s perfectly fine, but there are other ways of getting your point accross.  Hijacking commercial airliners and smashing them into populated buildings to kill thousands is not one of them.  It can only make things worse on both ends.

Since Bin Laden is the prime suspect from international intelligence agencies (not just the FBI), then he should at least be taken in for questioning for such a heinous crime.  If Afganistan decides that they won\'t hand him over then we have no choice but to go in by force.  No one should live in fear because of the fact that he is still out there somewhere, maybe planning his next attack in your country.

Well, according to Afghanistan, the Nation of Islam has a principle that if a guest is invited, it is his duty to leave, thereby no extradition by Afghanistan.

Seems kinda a dumb reason to start a war, huh?

But I guess no dumber, crazier, than flying a plane into a crowded building.

Also, its kind of depressing to hear that I\'m being picked last for the big kickball game.  Damn, I feel like the fat kid nobody wants on their team!

yeah! Band of Brothers is a great great thing to watch. it ssoo accurately depicts the war. i love it. if anyown has it, watch it on hbo on sundays. its well worth it.
