Jordan\'s Comeback
« on: September 17, 2001, 01:32:02 PM »
I think he is definitly coming back now. He had strongly hinted at it before and now he has cancelled a news conference because of the recent terrorist attacks. http://www.nba.com
Its because of this cancelation that I think he is definitly coming back. Because if he announced it now it wouldnt recieve that much attention because of all the media concentrating elsewhere

I\'ve been out of the NBA loop for a while, but is jordan gonna come back to the Bulls or try to get with the Wizards or some other crazy scheme?  I think he should get with the Wizards.  Since they suck so much it would be funny to see them win the championships just when Jordan gets on. :)  I know he\'s simply "the man" when it comes to this game, but can he turn things around for a horrible horrible team?  I might get much more interested in the NBA if this happened.

Then there\'s the time he left the Bulls & they didn\'t get their rings, until he came back of course.

I hate Jordan.  I hope he comes back, gets beaten down by the young players, and then retires in disgust just like Magic Johnson did a few years back.  I\'m not dissing Magic Johnson; I actually really like Magic and it made me sad to see him go through that.  I think Jordan deserves it though, and I can\'t wait.  It would be funny as hell to see Jordan come back and the Wizards don\'t even make the playoffs.

He\'s going to the Wizards.  At least he will get the attendance up.

maybe, and i mean MAYBE, they will make the playoffs. But thats about it.

me thinks MJ is making a big mistake if he comes back.

I have no problem with him coming back. I\'m sure he wont be at his best, but I\'m not a fan of going out when your on top. Sure it makes you look good but if you still love the game then why not continue?

Falcon4 - yeah I live in the Windy City. Windy Wellington. Its our version of Chicago.
And I know about Mike because he is probably the most well known sportsperson alive. And I love basketball. There is no point of watching New Zealand basketball when I\'ve got ESPN and can watch the NBA

ive a huge bulls fan and im pist that jordan is coming back,  not only to the wizards,  but coming back period.
he ended his career AWESOME.  he hit the final shot in the 6th championship of his career...two 3 peats!!!

now he\'s not gonna be the same or have the support from good teammates like pippen,  rodman or the rest of the bull\'s arsenal of the past...

plus,  he\'s gonna be playing small forward,  which means kobe or iverson wont get a fair matchup...

i really dont wanna see jordan get schooled by these younguns now....so im hoping his announcement is for attention only and that he doesnt come back.

Don\'t get all upset yet. He has not even said he was caming back. I don\'t think he will because if he plays for the wizzards it would make no sense they have no chance of winning a championship.

Who cares if they win the championship.  They will get the attendance up which will increase their income which will allow them to go for better free agents.  It\'s a quicker way for him to get his team better.

And thank you Quddus for fixing your Avatar.  At least now you can tell she is human.
