MGS2: Press release from Konami of Japan today
« on: September 19, 2001, 03:31:28 PM »
Thanks to PSera for the info.

"MGS2 Date Officially Not Delayed, Scene Deleted, Japanese Date Moved Up.

Thank you Konami

In a press release from Konami of Japan today, 9-19, Konami revealed that Metal Gear Solid 2 will not be delayed in light of the recent terrorist attacks on the United States. In the press release, Konami stated that there was a scene involving the World Trade Centers, but it will be deleted. In addition, it is now more than likely (as opposed to just a rumor) that the game will be released in Japan on November 29th, as opposed to mid-December. Definitely good news, we\'ll keep you updated."

Good New:  MGS 2 will not be delayed.

Bad New:  WTC scene will be deleted.

I can\'t understand why Konami decided to delete that scene, I doubt it would affect much to U. S. since it will be 2 months old by the time it hit store.  Anyway, it just video game, it not going to affect us in real life.  Beside, things have soften down and everybody seems to calm down a little, they move on and We, American won\'t let this go by easily.  Whoever done that will pay.  You know what I mean.:D
