Microsoft stated in their press release that they had the xbox in production two weeks ago.  They also said they were working on over 100,000 a week.   So lets do some math..

Excluding all of september, lets start off with the first week in October, thats 4 weeks, then two weeks in nov, thats 600,000 units and that doesn\'t even include september, nor does it include the "Over" 100,000 units.  

So, even after launch there will be plenty to go around, 1 million to 1 million 500 thousand.

There will be xbox\'s available at launch, which was not the case of the PS2.   The delay is smart, it gives them an extra week and it doesn\'t cost them anything.  Its a smart move on Microsoft\'s part and again, its right before the weekend.  I will be having loads of fun that weekend, can\'t wait.

Isn\'t somebody a little defensive today?  You can believe that the x-box is going to have some record breaking launch all you want.  but, I\'ll tell you right now that you are in for a big dissapointment.

Having systems available at launch is a completely different thing from being able to actually sell them.  No new system, with no previously installed fan-base is going to sell anywhere near half a million games at launch.  Especially since, contrary to you\'re belief, the x-box has no real big name games at launch.  DOA2, the predecesor to DOA3, was the tenth best ps2 selling launch title.  Now of course DOA3 will sell more than part two.  But, it\'s not going to go from having mediocre sales, to being a system seller.  

I could sit here and make you look like a fool all day, but you\'re not going to get it through your skull until you see for yourself.  So, after the x-box launches, I\'ll come back to this thread and you\'ll see that you\'re wrong.  And before you start calling someone a fanboy, maybe you should take a look into the mirror. :cool:
