Ummm...that\'s why "dark n scary" games are supposed to be played with the lights out!   Wimpy reviewer was probably ascared & had to play with the lights on;)   ...Who\'m I kiddin\'?  I\'m gonna soil my shorts soo much with this game it\'ll be pathetic!!!:eek:

EGM is probably the best gaming magazine out there. Maybe the game deserves the score it got.

Well I don\'t take anything gameinformer says seriously. And there reviews of games are best reserve for Nickelodeon.

Kessen 8 hahahaha

SH2 7.0(Under appreciated)

These scores they gave mean nothing but the rest of there scores mean lest than nothing.

Nice job posting your opinion, just because you think those scores are wrong doesnt mean everyone thinks that, for one have you even played Madden 2002, its in most peoples opinion the best football game ever made, you havent played Kessen 2 so how the **** do you know thats funny, same with SH2, have you played that game yet, nope

Umm I finally played madden2k2. I rented it. And It was not that bad, but it was not nothing new. The graphics where better. The gameplay was the same. I liked the fact that characters where not fat line backers. But all in all nothing new.  I think they over scored it.  And I have read countless things on silent hill 2 and the hands on review.

And I read the hands on Kessen 2 review and it sounds and seems a lot better than it crappy counter-part kessen 1.

But in the pass gameinformer has elevated crap and they are doing it now.

Gamepro gave Madden 2002 all 5s.
PSM gave it a 10.
EGM gave it the game of the month award, and gave it a 9, and two 9.5s.

I just thought you would want to know that.

game informer frequently slices and dices games and reveals them for the poop they are...i try to read reviews from a variety of places to get a bigger picture. egm is a good magazine but a bit elitist with that whole, we won\'t use a cheat to save our lives\' bullsh--. psm is a good magazine, along with next gen. most of the rest blow turkey rectum.

it is a good idea to start noticing the names of the reviewers so you figure out which ones have simaler tastes to yourself.

let\'s face it with the advent of the net...we can get our news faster. magazines our just another fix for the game junky.

I used to buy EGM since they reviewed SNES games.  I stopped buying them when they reviewed Gran Turismo 2, they gave the game all 10\'s.  The games graphics were very pixellated and I thought the 1st game was way better.  Don\'t take it the wrong way, but I thought the game wasn\'t perfect.  Gran Turismo 3 is a different story, it\'s awesome but GT2 looked very rushed IMO.  The internet is the best way to get reviews, and just asking people on this forum will give you a good idea if a game is good or not.

well i am not very impressed with game informer

they do have a werid way of doing their mag and they seem more into  making it look cool then putting out quality reviews and stuff like that

but yea i dont ever take the review of a game to seriously since i can think of a lot of games i love that arent critically acclaimed

Who cares guys, it\'s gonna be a Cult Classic anyway. this is going to be a definate purchase for those with
a Playstation 2. me for one, will be picking it up and about 6 dozen pairs of new underwear.
Oh, and some for the missus, she loves SH aswell

Game Informer = Sony Informer.

These guys have fired all their game fans and hired Sony fanboys to write their reviews, much like the current EGM status.

Oh how I wish for the days to return with GameFan magazine, easily the best there was.

Taking reviews from this magazine would be like taking a Dreamcast review from Bossieman or Bozco, Sonyfan knows what I am talking about.

Game Informer also said SH2 better in every way than SH1. They gave SH1 a lower scor ewhen it was released by the way. They siad it was a RE clone Also EGM said SH2 is better than SH1 so SH 1 fans should have no worries. SH for PSX never got the greatest scores if I recall. But it has a huge cult following.
