I said "Bowser-style bass guitar". I know that not all Bowser sections of Mario games have bass-guitar music, but Bowser was the first thing that I thought of when I heard the song.

Please define "remix" as it is applied to pop music now.

Another question: This song is about three years old. The only lines ever (repeatedly) sung in it are "Do you think you\'re better off alone?" and "Talk to me." The background music consists of Game Boy-style beeping. Okay, I know that\'s not an accurate description of the background music, but it\'s the best I can think of.
