You pretty much summed up ICO, Ryu. Good work.

One of the key aspects in ICO was animation. I can\'t believe how fluidly everything moves and reacts. And according to The Gia they didn\'t use motion capturing, wow. ICO is surreal.

I agree Data.  Ico is definitely a testament to the graphics of future PS2 games to come.  It\'s really amazing and pretty damn fun at the same time.  Who wouldda though that about 128-bit console games made by Sony. ;)

As for everyone else, thanks for the replies.

Heck yeah.  When I bought my PS2 last year, I had no idea the graphics would get this good.  The environments are enormous and very detailed.  The lighting effects are great (even though there is only one light source, so when you have a torch, the lighting gets a little funky ;)).  The water effects are the best I\'ve ever seen in a game.  They blow that "duck in a bathtub" tech demo out of the water.  The fire effects were also some of the best fire effects I\'ve ever seen.  And that sun...WOW!  It looked so beautiful peaking through a window or out from behind a mountain peak.  And even more, the clouds actually moved! :)  The lightning effects and the rain effects were brilliantly done.  I could go on for hours about how beautiful this game is, but I think I want to go pass the game again instead. :)  If this really is a testament of things to come, I don\'t think Sony has anything to worry about.

PS2 = Best.  Purchase.  Ever.
