Are there any PS2 games that are like Activisions old PC game: MechWarrior?

Armored core 2 and Armored Core :Another age. they are very good games.

and closely resemble mechwarrior.

Gun Griffon Blaze is fairly good.

Gundem is nothing like Mechwarrior or Mechwarrior 2. Its more like Mechwarrior 3 and 4. Every chasy has set equipment and you can change theem to a limited degree. Armored Core 2 is Exsactly Like Mechwarrior 2:Mercenaries. You take a job, get paid, and exsell in rank. Ring of Red is more like Mechcommander then anything. As you controll many different troops/vehicles/mechs at once. Ring of red is Turnbased rather then real time however.
