Russian Jet Crashes into Black Sea

MOSCOW, Oct. 4 -   A Russian airliner carrying at least 77 people and flying from Israel to Siberia exploded in midair Thursday, falling into the Black Sea. The possibility of terrorism was immediately raised as Russian aircraft and ships rushed to the scene 100 miles off Russia\'s coast. Israel suspended all flights from its major airport as a precaution.

Planes don\'t just explode (not even TWA 800). I know, I worked in the fuel tanks for 4 years.

If it blew up, it was from an external source, period.

I figure it blew up from a bomb, but saying it\'s terrorist related and not some whacko with a bomb is what I was asking.  Although terrorists are whackos..

I\'m just wondering if there is a connection.

True Video. It could have been Oxy tanks, or any number of other sources, I was merely stating that an airplane under normal conditions doesn\'t just explode.

Unfortunately, for an explosion to be seen by a nearby aircraft, as was the case, it points towards a deliberate act.

If it was intentional, it was terrorism, wether by a "lone nut" terrorist, or from a member of some radical group.

yeah a coincidence I think, a plane full of israelis seems a good target for palistinians. They wouldn\'t dare to do it on israeli airways because they have very high security measures. Maybe the russian government is trying to cover the situation up trying not to make people afraid
