Is it any good?  I thought that I might buy it, but the reviews say that it is just average.

It\'s soooo great, I hardly have time to post here.

the game is great guy. If you see bad or regular reviews in some web pages, this is cause the review is a person who doesn´t like this kinda games a lot. If you buy it, you´ll have a excellent game.

Buy SH2!  It\'s one creepy, disturbing game.  It\'s a must have for your PS2 library.

I just got this game yesterday.... Along with ICO.... If you haven\'t noticed my signature lately.... Too bad I\'m enjoying ICO more..... ICO is just too addicting! I played SH2 only for 20 mins yesterday... I still love it..... I will beat SH2 because I beat the first, and it\'s my duty to beat the second!:D

I totally don\'t get the whole ICO craze. I rented it and played it non-stop cause I didn\'t want to gie it an unfair opnion.

In the end I still just don\'t get whats so amazing.

So if I go out and buy Silent Hill 2, will I be happy with it?  I looked at some more reviews, and they all say that its good.

it\'s just too fun! I played it almost non-stop.... I loved it! I didn\'t wanna stop after I would save..... I would just keep going... And I would say to myself..... *Ok, next couch I will save and stop* Then I\'d save and keep going!

Yeah.... I\'d say I beat it in two days...... In only 5 hours..... I loved every second.....

And on to SH2..... I\'m loving it so far.... I really suck at it though..... I\'m playing on Easy mode.... And I feel like such a weakling cause of it....:D

I bought Silent Hill 2, and it is awsome!  I love the lighting effects.  The atmosphere of the game is very absorbing, and  I was drawn into the game as soon as I started playing.

It is an incredibly well made game... My buddies and I rented it on the long weekend and beat it in about 14 or 15 hours. The endings were a little dissapointing but I searched the net for a better explanation of the ending on gamefaqs.com and was quite impressed. If you do not understand the ending completley this will be quite an eye opener for you go check it out at gamefaqs.com.
We love you Dr.Sayus.

This game has provided me with such a great experiance already and im only about 2 hours into the game.
Stuff I realize im doing that I never have before because of the scaryness factor of this game:
I put my finger over the start button when I enter rooms.
I find myself saying "You guys suck" (Directed towards Konami) when I start to hear the radio getting static.
I check my map just to get away from the creepy sound effects.
When im inside a structure in the game I want to be outside, when im inside I want to be in a structure.

Sound familiar guys?  Post yours.

I don\'t have a PS2 so my exposure to its games is limited.  I did, however, get to experience Silent Hill 2 the other day and I must say that the movement is a little crummy, but that is totally over shadowed by the atmosphere.  It\'s a really intense game - lots of fun.
