I test drove a Mazda RX-7 Today.......

In real life, Not GT3.

Im currently looking for a car and this one had a nice price tag and a low mileage.

Anyways I drove a red Twin Turbo RX-7, this thing is Fast and Furious, This thing was a beast, As soon as you hit the gas you get sucked into your seat.......and it the handling is awesome also...

It has to be in my top 5 choices..........the only thing holding me back is the reliabilty of a Mazda....thats where Honda has the edge.

Choices:

97 or Above Honda Prelude SH
95 Mazda RX-7 Twin Turbo
97 or Above Integra Type-R
95 or Above Toyota Supra Twin Turbo (Still need to test drive)
00 Civic SI

and yes, they all are 5 Speed, except the Supra thats a 6Speed.

Anyone else searching for a car?

Seriously, I also thought about getting an Integra or a 200SX in some time.

forget the mazda RX-7...even though its a awesome car. You should get the 95 Twin turbo Toyota SUPRA... ITS a BEAST !!!:thepimp:

Always wanted to drive an RX-7.  Never owned a Mazda so can\'t speak for its reliability.

Why don\'t you just get a Lexus IS300?

Seriously though, the choices you got are pretty hard to choose from, as they are all good.

You should check out a 300ZX, one of the later models.  I love those cars.  I don\'t know how hard it would be to find one in good condition with low mileage.

No Accord TypeR\'s stateside sam..as for the topic..get the RX7 or supra...but do the single turbo conversion!!!!! Stock supra block can hold around 500-600hp b4 it grenades!! I had the pleasure of riding in a 1.5 bar supra..man that thing was a demon.. I also had the pleasure of riding in a 11sec street legal RX7...that thing was just plain unholy!!! My buddy downshifted at 80 and broke the tires loose untill he let off the gas..man it was a sick ride!! he let me drive it once when it was a high 12 sec car..talk about fun... I was actually afraid of the thing.

I want one of those too..since the 5spds just came out..already there is alot of aftermarket support and a few turbo\'d beasts running around..I know the JDM Altezza\'s get the turbo4\'s there..US always misses the good cars. A nice solar yellow or the blue one will do nicely...or the bright white with some graphite wheels

Get a used NSX, their preety affordable.  I wonder what the insurance would be on a used one.:eek:
