New PS2s... This time in different colors! (No pink :(

I\'m surprised nobody has posted anything like, "Oh, now that it\'s for the PS2, it\'s cool to have tons of different colors. :rolleyes:"

Anyways, at the risk of being called a fanboy by any following posters, I have to say that those look very cool.

But what\'s with the regional allotments, per colour, of 666 units?

These are limited edition colors to celebrate Sony producing 20 million PS2s.  Is that what you were asking?

No, I am refering to the allotments of 666 PS2s, which is seemingly an arbitrary number.

I like the blue,
but the yellow has a fast Ferrari like feel to it

Black is the best color for a console, IMO. probably 75% of my consoles are black. I draw smiley faces in the dust.

You forgot to mention the NGC.  Anyways, if this will help Sony sell more console, I think they should continue to have multi-colored consoles and not stop after the 20,000 of each color are sold.  They just look so cool.

The silver and red ones are great!

The answer is simple, but it\'s not something you\'ll like.  All you need is a user name on Ebay and $1000.

If i had my choice i would still stick with black

although it would be cool to have the different colored controlers.  will they be selling the controllers separetly?

People, even if you have a expired warrenty, you can paint your system yourself, my friend painted his PSX, and it works Great.

Why are they so.....shiny? The black ones have a rougher texture.

I like the silver and the blue one, but I still think that the black ones the best.

They\'re all ugly as hell.
