shenmue is one of my favorite games, and now i have to buy an xbox to play shenmue 2?  whats wrong with my DC, sega?   abandonding us yet again?

i refuse to hand hundreds of dollars over to mr gates just to play my favorite game franchise.  

perhaps ill buy a *shudder* gamecube JUST to spite mr gates.  of course, ill just throw it in the closet and let it collect dust, as im not a child and dont like kiddie games

from here on out, i hope that XBOX sputters and dies, as it hopelessly will

well i don\'t really care after finishing Shenmue 1. It is highly overrated IMO. Run around, wait for 30mins, trigger cutscene and push 2 buttons, advance and do the same thing all over for a few days straight, end of shenmue.

It had a good story and some of the most beautiful gfx I\'ve ever seen but it didn\'t live up to the hype. I hope they emphasize the fighting and better puzzles to keep me interested in Shenmue 2 at least.

I know most DC/Shenmue fans are pissed, but it was the best thing to do. I\'m glad Sega did it.

"Exclusive" can mean anything from 6 month exclusive to a year before it shows up on PS2 or GC.

Welp I agree its a blow to DC owners

but who cares, IMO Xbox will have enough games besides Shenmue to warrant a purchase so its not a loss of cash


my problem is I don\'t have enough money to invest into a 2nd system (well I do but there are about 157 other priorities) and I sure as hell do not have the time to invest into a 2nd system


but if ya can afford it and ya want to play Shenmue I do not view Xbox as a bad investment
