Most memorable gaming moment?

It also has to be when I play for the first time the NES. I mean, I was like 9 years old when it hit the streets in USA and I was looking for a Commodore 64 at the moment, then I saw Mario Bros in a store display and that was it. Since that moment I have dedicate my life to playing videogames:D. I have bought absolutely all the consoles that hit the market since that day.
I just wanna know!.

FFVII is by far the best gamimg experiance I have ever had. It made me start to think that video games can actually be like a good book or movie, and that\'s why I love Final Fantasy so much. At first I was the average joe gamer then my dad bought a PSX for me 6 years ago, and I played FFVII and couldn\'t let go of it after I beat the red scorpion robot. Man, I tell ya, I could NOT stop thinking about that game. It just got better and better. Then came along FFVIII(not the best FF but still one of the best games ever) and then FFIX(2nd best game ever made).

I don\'t see how it is offensive though. What I meant and I assumed everyone got this because MGS2 is coming out in a month. That\'s why I said I\'ll get back to you in a month. Sorry if I offended you but my intentions were of MGS2 that is coming out in a month. Again, sorry.

As others have said, so many to choose from...but this is the "most" memorable gaming moment thread...so mine would have to be the one game that gave my Sega CD reason for being: Snatcher.  No particular moment of that game...but rather the game as a whole and the impression it made on me.

Best game ever?  Nah...I ain\'t sayin\' that...the answer there lies in MGS (and ABSOLUTELY MGS2 within a month)...BUT, even with its linear storyline, Snatcher was vivid.  It enveloped me like BladeRunner.  The techno-trash world and the creeps you dealt with were palpable.  Basically a great game...whose images will always be etched in my mind.

Picture this: Dave finds an available seat for his \"Aggressive Drivers Anonymous\" encounter group session.   Saying, \"Hello\" he sits amongst his support group of S2K owners...  Smiling, they rock ever-so-gently to and fro in their chairs...humming peacefully...drinking coffee...and rolling little AutoArt & Maisto S2000s across their knees.  At this moment, the group responds in unison, \"Hi, w1ngman!\" :D

FF7 and MGS seem popular choices, as displayed here :

Deus Ex- Playing the game............and getting all the endings
FF7- Aeris and the plot
FF8- The ending scene
Goldeneye- Getting 205 kills in the 20 minutes (i think it was 20)
Street Fighter turbo 2 on SNES- Damn my dad had this "kens corner" move and kicked my a** bigtime........so annoying.
Donkey Kong Country - Beating it fully.
MGS- The game and select battles.
Mario Bro\'s 3 on SNES- The whole game.
Mario 64- Finishing completely.
GT3- Getting 100%
SIm City (SNES)- Beating the Detroit scenario

Finally attaining \'Elite\' status while being attacked by 3 Thargoid battlecruisers with only about 10% of my shield left in 1984.

It was a long time ago :)

Actually the most memorable gaming moment for me is really when I got my PS2 at Christmas. I was so happy :D. I saw the blue box but I couldn\'t believe what I was seeing. All I wanted to do was hook her up and play her for the rest of the day. Which I couldn\'t because I was going to my aunt\'s. But the rest of my Christmas break, I played nonstop.
Next month though will be my new most memorable gaming moment. MGS2!!! I still have to preorder it.
