I am very impressed with this game and many of the features . However there should be more of a penalty for hitting the walls when racing . I have not seen some of the tracks from number 2 that I miss in the new format . Monaco is good but there are a number of F1 tracks that would be better like Spa or Suzuka . The test coarse in concept is good but should have an internal section with sharp curves . Would make the setup more crittical . 2 seconds should be added in pit time for each time the player hits the wall . This would make a more challenging game where precision counts . Other than this I am so impressed with GT 3 especially the tire ware in professional races . Another improvement would be to have to buy individual tires before the race so that the player would have to plan their race from the outset .

Its Gran Turismo 3

Alot of us agree that GT needs to add that next element of realism

Even if its an added mode for only those who want it.

Yes, we all know GT needs many things. Perhaps GT4 and its online mode fix these problems. Welcome to the board.

GT3 isn\'t all that! I hate the physics of it!! Plus it takes forever to gain the other vehicles. I think a big step will be putting racing online! Maybe fix that steering a little bit, too stiff for me!

Hate the physics ?????????

GT3\'s physics are pretty damn awesome and its defines the game

As for the steering, You either are a really bad car tuner, have really bad driving techniques, do  not adjust your technique for each car or you don\'t really enjoy simulation racers cause GT3 is out to emulate the way those cars honestly behave in real life.

I do think the game is a little too long to the point it becomes work, but I still love it and still enoy playng it. I\'m against the magnitude of 10 lap races and then 20 lap and then  endurance races. They should reduce those races down to 5 7 10 and 12 then endurance, but no one cannot say they aren\'t getting their money\'s worth with the amount of gameplay and cars

I won\'t hesitate for the next version either

I really hope they take GT4 to the next level..fuel systems..cam gear adjustments..dyno-meter adjusting..of course..as in real life, each thing cost\'s $$$$. I would also like to see damage. On that note..one would have to repair the damage or their aero-dynamics suffer....

I would have to say that it would be absolutely fantastic to see damage effects on the car....and not just panel damage.....suspension failure, power steering failure etc etc.
Maybe I\'m just thinking too much rally driving failures :D

No need to think to highly.ppl read message boards every so often..maybe they will see what ppl want.. On that note..I totally agree with you...the GT series took vid-game racing to a higher more realistic level of racing..I wanna see them continue!!! I was a little upset when I heard GT3 would have weather in it wayyyy back when only to see that when they said weather...that only the course itself would be wet and not actually raining. I also think for endurance races..one has to change tires so why not have a chance to pit for fuel! Not to mention a drag race series would be nice!
