Kinetica? If you get/rent it...let us know your views!

I\'m soooo flippin\' hard up for Wipeout Fusion I don\'t know what to do.  Bottomline, I\'d really like to wait, since there are just so many other good games coming out, but...  So, purpose of thread: you get it, tell us about it!

BTW...since I\'ve never tried a "poll" before, it will probably totally screw it up...but you guys get the idea!

I hope someone bought it. I\'d like to hear impressions also.

Anyone? For the graphical whore in me, how are the textures? How\'s the lighting? And what\'s the framerate?

I got Kinetica today along with DMC.

My impressions on Kinetica are :

GRAPHIC: Graphics are average, nothing really spectacular . The only thing that hurts the game is the framerate it drops in the begining of the races all the time because there are so many people on screen.It\'s really fast most the time. The textures are OK.Jaggies are hardly noticable.

GAMEPLAY: It was hard for me to get used to in the begining. Once I got the hang of it, it was cool. Fun is about the only word that can describe it.

SOUND :They music is average. There isn\'t much sound, just the scraping of the wheels on the pavement.

OVERALL: It\'s a cool game. Most of you may want to rent it first before buying it.

Is it awesome? Are you kidding me? Of cource it\'s awesome. I\'m about 45 minutes into the game now and cool. It looks a little better than the Demo did.I can\'t really give that much of the impressions yet until I get farther into the game. Maybe tonight I\'ll give my impression/review.

Forget Kinetica, you need to go out and get Extreme G3.

Chances are, I\'m getting both of those.

From the sound of it, Kinetica is a much more "fresh" racing game--a lot of innovations. It kind of reminds me of Uniracers from the reviews I\'ve read (awesome SNES racer); I can\'t wait to try it out. I\'m renting it tonight.

I already own XG3, and it is a truly excellent game as well.

Rent it and try it out first, I guess. But it is easily one of the best games I have played in a long time.

I love XG3, but this is just so cool. It takes a little bit of time to get used to. Once you have the controls down, though, it\'s well worth it. Great, great game. It makes me wonder how "weak" Sony\'s first party truly is.

I Got XtremeG3 and it\'s awesome!  It\'s so fast and has great graphics and man the SPEED of the game rocks!  If your a futuristic racing nut get Xtreme G3, Kinetica, and then get Wipeout Fusion!  That\'s if you got the funds!:D
