ROFL

If there was a caption competition for those pics you\'d have won.

I think it would have been even funnier if they had a single fan in the crowds.

Disagree

I see nothing in these pics that make the game look better then PG or GT3

Don\'t really understand how you guys think these are great ???

I\'m sure the game will shape up since its realy early but not these shots and not the last batch either

I am glad to see that the cars lack PG\'s "just washed and waxed" look.

Yes, these look alot better than GT3 or PG, IMO.

look at the backrounds, no cardboard cut outs, no washed out, muddy textures on everything, no flat buildings (PG), etc.

Plus, the 300ZX is int he pic,a dn it is the best car...ever.

Just wondered if you knew that they were work in progress, then why say it in the first place?
Also you guys saying that this game doesn\'t look good, do you remember what GT3 backgrounds and stuff looked like, this early in development?
On the 15 of March 2002, i was going to leave these forums for good.
But on the 16 of March i realised i couldn\'t ever say bye to you guys, so i am staying here for good!

When GT3 was in this stage, it was a) called GT2000 and b) was running an enhanced graphics engine of GT2 (stated by Yamauchi). GT3 started looking as good as it is now, when they rebuilt the graphics engine from scratch (this happened sometime mid 2000, then after TGS it was confirmed and renamed to GT3 A-Spec for release in 2001).
