How low is the price of PS2 gonna go in the US???

How low is the price of the PS2 gonna go in the US? any time soon?

If anything expect the price to drop in mid Novemebr to coincide with Xbox and GC launches

Probably $50 at the most

but SOny has also denied any price drops this year, but that could just be a ploy to keep people buying $300 PS2\'s in the mean time

I would expect a pricecut now in November..
To about $199

They told their investors that their was no price cut, so don\'t expect one. The last thing they would do is lie to their investors.

when the xbox is going to be sold out [300,000 systems on launch] and gc is going to be sold out on launch as well [700,000 systems on launch] who will be there to fill that gap ? the PS2. and since the parents cant get the xbox or gc for their kids, what will they end up buying for ANY PRICE ?!? the PS2 for $300. why lower the price during the holiday season when you know parents are going to shove out, ANY AMOUNT of money for the lil brats ?

I really don\'t think the demand for the X-box and gamecube is going to be that high.

It\'s not going to be like the whole PS2 launch mess.
