Just got PS2 and three games, need to buy more games, help!

My friend had a PS2 but I only got to play it once or twice a month. So I decided to get one of ebay (got it for $200 with two controllers), bought a 48 inch wide screen and got the buy 2 get one free special of amazon. I need to buy some more games, I got...

NCAA Football 2002; Great game to play a friend against

Grand Turismo 3: Good but not as good as advertised IMO. What do you guys think?

What other games should I get? I can\'t wait to get NBA Live 2002 but have question\'s on these games...

MGS2, Baldur\'s Gate, Tony Hawk 3, Capcom vs SNK2, and Jak & Daxter are games coming out within the next two months that will be great.  Keep an eye out for those.

- GTA3 is a must if you have any sense of depravity...or humor

- Ace Combat 4...if you like the priors, this is icing on the cake.  Not just pretty to look at [it is], but a fantastic game.  You "feel" the weight of the crafts as you try to pull g\'s.  It doesn\'t come off as a "pivoting" plane, etc.

- ICO.  This might just be my most favorite "story-game" yet.  By that I mean that while, yes, it is an adventure...as I played it and as I saved/left/returned/loaded over the course of days, it was as if I had experienced a most vivid reading of a fantastical story.  Beautiful, visual, and emotional.

- NASCAR Thunder...Like racing?  Like Nascar racing?  Then don\'t bother with Nascar 2001, or Nascar Heat 2002 (although an excellent title, too)...because bottom line, Thunder 2002 just takes the cake over all the others.  I really don\'t think I can offer something negative about this game.

- ATV Off-Road Fury...An absolute blast of 4-wheelin\' festivities.  Great locations both cross-country as well as stadium.

- Red Faction - If you enjoy FPS\'s...this one has a great story & a lot of action.  Of course, no online/multi...but we can dream...

The PS2 version of Crazy Taxi was ported poorly by Acclaim.  It\'s nothing like the Dreamcast version.

NBA Street is a riot as is SSX but I would wait for SSX Tricky in Novemebr. Both of these are EA Big Titles

Im gonna do the buy 2 get 1 free with amazon.com again. I wanna really get NBA Live 2002, but I guess that $7 of coupon is not for that game? So I may get NHL 2002 instead (how is that? I was dissapointed with 2001 big time).

And are there any good racing games out besides GT3? Anyone else besides me a bit dissapointed in GT3? It is good, but I think it could of been better and was a little overhyped...

SSX - Great game, Never ending snowboarding, continous action. A never really get bored.

Twisted Metal: Black - Another twisted metal extraordinary game, great movies and gameplay. Weapons of mass destruction nad wonderful graphics.

Silent Hill 2 - Very under-rated game. People may say it\'s a rent. But with everything you can do with this game IT IS a must get. Five different Endings with different difficulty levels for gameplay and riddles. The shear machinics of this game are mind blowing, I doubt anyone will truly know the depth of this game.

Tekken TAG Tournament - If you love and have played all other Tekken\'s Heres the game for you. Wonderful graphics and you get to BOWL!

As know already, Gran Turismo 3 would be on this list, cept you already have it. IMO, This is One of thee BEST games ever released.

Great Rents:

Onimusha: Warlords - Extraordinary game with excellent visual graphics and Story. But once you Beat it its beat. That is why It\'s in the Rent section.

Rune: Viking Warlord - Another great Story built game with great Visuals and nice gameplay. I\'d say this game is a half Must Get, half Rent game depending on the persons playing it.

Smugglers Run - I dont care what people think of this game, It\'s down right HARD, trying to drop off illegal substances while evading about ten cops is NOT  an easy task. They do whatever they can to arrest your ass. Takes a good five days to complete all 32 some missions.

ATV: Offroad Fury - This game is all Fine and dandy to game until you beat it and play it for awhile. Then It\'s like Bleh. But overall I\'d pay about 15 bucks for it.

There are plenty other games but I really dont feel like typing for another 30 minutes.

I\'d have to say that I\'m not really in Twisted Metal Black...but maybe that\'s just me.

GTA3:  Yeah...get it!  This should be on top of your list.
GT3:  I personally thought it was absolutely brilliant....but the races are far too long towards the end.
NHL 2002:  This game simply rocks!!!  But I guess I\'m a sports freak so you can reserve judgment.
Devil May Cry:  Another brilliant title to consider.

But of essentials in my opinion, GTA3, GT3 and Devil May Cry.

And of course, WRC when it comes out
