HAPPY BIRTHDAY PS2!!!!!!

Today one year ago sony launched their new console, many were scepticall about it The development problems, jaggies lackluster launch games made many unsure about ps2 future. Now one year Later, all I can say that it has been a great year. Ever since the release of TB:black everthing suddenly went uphill for sony. Then suddenly GT3, Red faction and RE:CV released followed by ICO and SH2. This weeek we had DMC and AC4 . With Tony Hawk 3 Jack and Dexter and the legendary MGS2 just around the corne I can see that sony is going to dominate this christmas.

I feel it has been a great year for sony and the future looks bright, it looks very bright. With more great games to come and online play to kick of in early 2002

So what do you think, was 2001 the year of sony, were you dissapointed or relieved? How was ps2s first year Share your opinions

Ps2 has been the console I have hoped to own - it has fulfilled everything, and I agree that I was suspicious at first.

Yeeehaaa!

To commemorate the B-Day of the PS2, I will play Warhawk, the first game I played on my PS AND PS2.

On this day one year ago, I got up at 5am after not being able to sleep all night to go and pick up my already paid for PS2.

I was the only one there with the presence of mind to actually pay for it in advance.

I just love looking at my cool blue and black box.

Thats true, i remember exactly last year in the morning of October 26 standing or sitting in front of Target freezing my a$$ off...and then around 7 hours later i had smile from ear to ear with my ps2 and SSX!!!:) Happy 1st Birthay PS2!!!:bounce:

I remeber going to my mall before they opened not knowing if I was on the first group or not for Software ETC\'s pre-order list...I was the LAST person on the first list!  but they didnt have any Memory cards.....I wont to talk about that fiasco..........I searched ALL over that day for them......but no luck....Mine has had little to no problems (knocking on wood).  Happy B-day PS2!
