Ace Combat 4 - Best Plane

I think it would have to be the SU-37

I had a hard time initially killing those Yellow SU-37 fighters since they\'d do that vertical stall while I was dog fighting them. I\'d be on their but and had them in my lock and guns and suddenly, I\'d pass right by them! AAAARGH!

Then I made their stalling advantage as their weakness. I\'d chase them....but from further back. If they stay in my lock for too long, they\'ll do that vertical stall....sitting duck for my missiles!

BTW, I\'m using the F-22. If the enemy is not a Yellow, he\'s dead before 30 seconds is over. Next please.

BTW, has anyone shot down the SR-71 Black Hawk? HOLY COW! They fly high and FAST! You can\'t even see them when your HUD picks it up! You an find it at the Shattered Skies level(Rocket Launch)

It\'s called the Blackbird, not the Blackhawk . Atleast in real life, I don\'t know about the game.

I stand corrected. I was reading about a drag race a while back between an S4 and Blackhawk.

Yep, the yellows was the hardest to shoot down!!  I use the F-14A to splash them down.  I just pass the game.  I used the F-16 on the last level.   Now I have open up some new options on the menu screen.   I\'ll earn more money the second time around so I can get all 18 planes.  

The last mission and the mission before i used an A-10 and got the SU-37 etc... with no problems, they just go by me fast, and can\'t get a lock on me

What about F-18? Is it in game?

I\'ll try that. I\'ve finished Normal twice. Gonna jump into Hard level next. Hoo boy! I wonder what new concept plane will be available!

This game is awesome.  I wish it was on-line play so that I could lay the hurt on some of you..

Right now I am using the F-16, but I am only like 5 missions in.  

Just bought the A-10, gonna use that for the beach level I am on.

I love this game.  Absolutely.

I have not shot down a yellow yet, just can\'t get on their tail, need a faster plane

No sh*t Falcon4...The night I got it you were the first member I thought of b/c of your love of flight.  Killed me that you weren\'t making any posts salivating for this recently!!!
