FIFA 2002 (PS2)?? Lookin for Reviews!

I personally bought FIFA 2002 yesterday, and excited as hell because that is just the soccer fan I am whenver the new FIFA title comes out.  I would have to say that I was incredibly disappointed with this years edition.  Graphics are poor as well as gameplay.  So if you have a review please post, because I am looking for other opinions about the poorly realsed game on the PS2 console.

I haven\'t had the oportunity to buy it. It\'s really that bad? Someone else have tried this game?

PSX I don\'t know what happend between this years realease and last years, but graphically I was disappointed while I was playing it...you have to try it out for yourself I guess but thats why I am lokking for replies about it, because maybe it is just me!

Fifa 2002 bad. Thats a shame I was thinking of getting that.

i saw footage of it a while ago, it was very stop starty.....as in when you went to turn quickly it would stop for a split second........ i was dissapointed with fifa 2001....found it very slow and passing and shooting poor.....im defientley gonna get pro evoulution.....or what ever its called!!!

yea so I have seen that this is a Euro Board...which is cool...but I am all the way West in New York. ...love the game of soccer miss playing it a bunch....but my Favorite teams would be Arsenal,Liverpool,and Blackburn...its hard to see your games on TV unless you have a Satellite dish so that kind of sucks for me..

Hey Hydration I\'m new here too. You should wait and give FIFA 2002 some time. I love soccer and the FIFA series but it always takes a couple of days for me to like any of the games. Maybe I just expect too much? Just some advice.
Oh yeah ... go get Direct TV and get Fox Sports World!!!!! Soccer 24/7 (practically)

ahhhh arsenal- over rated, why does the manager buy so may forwards when its plain to see he needs defenders!!!! and why the fu"c does he play grimandi...hes so crap hes the only player not to be a international and he deserves not to get called up, everyperson in the team is better than him

blackburn- i always thought they were gonna stay up, when most people thought they were gonna go down, they got some good player, i think they will finish in the top ten.....but most of there players are liverpool reject ..lol.....McTeer ( now at sunderland), stig byonabe ( spelt wrong), friedel...there are more but cant remeber them at the mo.....even the manager is a ex-liverpool man, great player and a good manager but he had heatr problem so had to leave the liverpool mangement team


kiverpool- yes that more like it, the team i love, need to get berger back to his best and get another right winger, or one who can play on both, also need to get another defender  as we have so many injuries and dont know when babbel will be back....he may have to retire becouse of what hes got     all my mates think i look like markus babbel, and say the reason he aint playing for liverpool is cos hes playing for our team...lol

I hear you on getting use to the new FIFA but it just seems while I was playing it last night again...I was getting use to play controls and movement...but still graphically you have to admit they could of done a much better job...that is my opinion anyway...they are always saying that the PS2 could do so much more but I wanna know when I am going to see the full results of this baby!!! I just boggles my mind when I see a beautifully made game like Gran Turismo 3 and then there are games such as and I hate to say this as now FIFA 2002(in the graphics category)

...and as for the greatest sport in the world I would give anything to play on those fields by you guys...and yes I was looking into Direct TV but they say it has its good days and bad so I am just waiting on it or I might get Digital Cable..

I know it\'s off topic but Hydration I live in the Bronx and the only time my Direct TV goes out is when it\'s raining really bad and even then it\'s only for a very short time.
I haven\'t seen FIFA 2002 running yet and I really got spoiled because I bought the last 3 FIFA\'s on PC but I\'m sure it will look fine.

I use to be a PC man myself Rizzen...I decided to get out of the PC gaming due to fact I was always upgrading my videocard for better graphics each year.....what also was a pain in the ass was all the tweaking you had to do to get it to run how you want it....anyway I am sure it will look good on the PC no question what comes into effect is what kind of computer you are running to have it look correct!!!  That is why I love my PS2 don\'t have to worry just put my game in and it will look phat as hell and run the same way!
