Exactly Bozco. Age doesn\'t matter if you know how to drive a car. Just because someone\'s a teenager, doesn\'t mean they will wreck their car their first year.

Teens will drive reckless whether they have a Porsche or an Altima.  So limiting horspower won\'t do a darn thing.  You can hit a telephone pole going  50 miles an hour in any car.  

When I think of some of the stupid stuff I did when I was a kid I cringe every time.  I could very easily not be here typing this right now (No comments)...

My dad has done many movies, he did Pitch Black with Vin Desil in it and Street Fighter with Van Dam.

He has done lotsa others too.

I kinda agree with 18 age limit for driving. It\'s not that teenagers are any less able to handle a car, it\'s that teenagers are far more prone to doing stupid shit to show off to their friends. I know it\'s true because I was like that, and I had friends that did much worse.

Most states will move the minimum age to 18 coz there are too many teens getting killed or causing accidents due to their lack of maturity(ie racing in public roads) and experience. So...the chances are higher for a 16-17 year old getting into an accident than an 18 year old.

Now....the above paragraph is not my opinion. It\'s the reason behind the laws that pushed the legal age to drive to 18 years of age. Really, it\'s hard to blame the law makers. There are just enough dummies out there(you know plenty that shouldn\'t be driving, I\'m sure) that will ruin the chance for competent drivers below the age of 18 to drive sooner.

The thing is - there are just as many adults that are incompetent.

I think there should be much stricter criteria for getting a driver\'s license. And I think anyone who drives drunk needs to lose their license for a year MINIMUM on the first offense.

For the most part I don\'t think teenagers are any more dangerous ALONE than anyone else behind the wheel. It\'s when you get in groups that the driver acts like a moron. But a lot of teenagers are responsible enough for the priveledge.

I think teenagers are more silly than dangerous, by the way they make their cars up and outfit them with El Destructo 40,000 watt ConcussionBass systems.

But everyone knows old people are by far the most dangerous drivers:D

I also cringe when I see teenagers spend thousands of dollars on souping up cars with intakes and nitro and shit, and never race em. I know you guys like to race, doesn\'t that irritate the crap out of you?

You get a hell yes!!! Just like one needs a CDL to drive trucks..Just like one needs a particular liscense to ride bikes.. I think people over 60 need to take a different test. I also believe they need to be tested for renewal more often than it is currently. I believe people under the age of 18-21(some age between there) should have to take a more difficult or more  comprehensive test.

Yes, that does kinda iritate me..but hey..its their money and if they think it makes em kewl..so be it. I do understand some of it though. Some days/ nights I am more than content with not racing by just hanging out shooting the **** or helping crew for a friend.
