The WRC demo is excellent.
The visuals are very good with a great sense of speed, you can see for miles ,but everything in the distance is a little blurred.They have also included some of the real life videos which are great to watch too.
The sound effects are superb, they recorded every little sound you could think of, nothing is missing. tyhe replay music is Ok to.
Two courses are available in the demo, monte carlo and argentina.
Both are a little short, you drive the Ford Focus. the handling is a little off if you ask me, it seems to respond a little overquickly on the steering, and a little to slow on the engine pick up. but after 3 or 4 runs you get used to it, it also seems a bit light over the bumbs and jumps getting a little too much air.
There are a multitude of views to choose from in replay mode as well as about 4 or 5 in game views.
The damage is shown although it can be hard to spot at times and you really have to bash it hard to really mangle it, but damage also breaks radiators and steering and transmission which affects handling etc.
The car dirt effect is pretty good although it seems to only occur at any extent in the last 3rd of the stage.
Im really enjoying this Demo and have achieved 1.57.2 on the Argentina stage (which is the more interesting of the 2), and it has really wetted my appetite for this game
