For those of you who still do not think there is much of a graphical difference in DOA3 over DOA2, look this and slap yourself...now.





Without a doubt, DOA3 is the most beautiful fighting game I have seen, I will have to pick it up to play when I have some buds over.

It does look reeeealy nice.

Too bad I never got into the 3D fighting craze.  I\'ve always been a 2D fighting purist.

BTW- That pic up there says counter BLOW...heh....heh.....uhhh...heh.

Its a shame, those great graphics come with IMO the ****tiest gameplay of any fighter

u get a hard on  over those graphics? thats pretty weak man. PS2 blows those graphics away by far fool!

I\'m sorry, but this thread is kind of gay.  We all know that it looks way better than DOA2:HC (we\'ve heard from every preview and every review out there that it\'s the best looking fighter EVER).  This is like that xbox.IGN.com comparison that they had yesterday.  They also compared DOA3 with DOA2:HC.  While I was reading it, I was like, "Ok, when are you going to do a real comparison by comparing the gameplay instead of just the graphics?"

But anyways, yes, DOA3 looks very nice.  BTW, the pics from Gamespot always look like trash.  Those pics don\'t do either DOA2:HC or DOA3 justice.

But I don\'t see all that much of a difference.... BTW... You picked a bad area in doa2... So backgrounds you can\'t compare...

I saw DOA3 today I can definetly say DOA3 look better than DOA2. Bigger environnent, cleaner textures, anti-aliasing equals a better looking game than DOA2. Don\'t worry Koolkuv I now you like your PS2 alot(so do I) but you can\'t block out every other system, because they\'re going to be great awell.:D

they both look like trash IMO, so do all the gamespor pic and movies, get some hi-res screen from ign. VF will beat the trash out of this game anyway, both in texturing character models and lighting

Altered didnt choose very good pics to compare the two with. The PS2 pic he got is from a tag match where the backgrounds arent as good.

But Sublimesjg got better ones. It\'s my opinion that DOA3 isnt that much better. The backgrounds are definitly better in DOA3, but the characters are quite similar to me. They dont amaze me, but then again I havent been blown away by a game in a long time.
Looks good though. Both are first generation games, so you\'d expect the xbox version too look better.
