I\'ve been following most of Sony Europe\'s stuff pretty closely since it was announced, including Dropship, and I must say the game is looking considerably improved. The textures are still crap (you can tell even on these low quality vids) but what can you expect with the huge environments this game promises?
What has roused my interest is all of the new gameplay elements they seem to be implementing. Now Dropship looks to be more of a hybrid RTS action game with multiple vehicles, rather than a straight up shooter.
And the different vehicles are definiteley a plus, the part in the video where a tank is taking out a bunch of ground troops was just plain cool. There really aren\'t enough good games with tanks in them, or at least none that play as well as... (forgot the name of some arcade tank game, suffice to say, it was awesome).
