If you are a fan of RPGs, then this is the game to get right now. If you do not have a Gameboy Advance and Castlevania, Mario Kart, F Zero, Warioland, or Advance Wars hasn\'t sold you yet (c\'mon... Castlevania!!) then this is the reason to get a GBA... right... now!
From the amazing introduction, to the graphics, to the crazy combat engine, to the stunning synth\'ed orchestrated music, you must get this game. Must. Get. Game.
Put it this way, despite being on a handheld, reviewers are claiming the game is "full length," and g-d knows that I\'m 6 hours into the game, and have not even arrived at the first of four main target locations. Character development? Got it. Sub-plots and side quests? Got it. Intelligent puzzles? Got it. Ridiculously fun and fast combat? Got it.
Many reviewers are calling it RPG of the Year... or at the very least, a strong contender to the title. Do yourself a favor, get this game.
PS - Anyone looking for a Shining series game nostalgia trip, get this game. You remember that cool trick in Shining Force 1 when you named your character that allowed you to rename every character? That little code made a comeback. The graphics and music are a blend of everything that made both Chrono Trigger and the Shining games so beautiful and sweet on the eyes and ears.
