Did anyone pick up NFL Fever
« on: November 15, 2001, 06:55:36 PM »
I was wondering if anyone picked up Fever today and would like to give their impressions. I\'ve heard and seen all about the graphics but what about the gameplay?

I\'ve heard from other forums that it\'s somewhere inbetween Madden 2002 and NFL 2K2 in terms of gameplay style. What about AI? Are the controls intuitive? What about multiplayer?

Thanks.

I picked up Fever 2002 Lavan.  Let me put it this way...I wish Madden looked this good but I wish Fever played like Madden.  Not that it\'s bad because it is not bad at all...it\'s actually very good but I am a sim guy and Fever is definitely more of an arcade type football game.

I am at work so thats the best I can explain it.

Cool - thanks for replying - yeah, I heard it was a bit \'arcadey\'. When you get some more time could you give me the run down on the control and some of the features.

Fever, Project Gotham and (more recently) Halo are the X-Box launch titles that interest me the most - it\'s a shame that my local EB doesn\'t have Fever playing on their X-Box display; it\'s DOA3 non-stop there (which I guess makes sense since it looks very pretty and should wow the customers).

I have played NFL Fever extensively, and I definitely like it better than Madden.

There are a few problems.

When you throw the ball on a short pass it takes forever to get to the guy, it is like slo mo! Also, I wis the running defense and offense were more effective. It is definetly more arcadey than Madden or NFL2K2, but it is a heck of alot of fun!

A funny gesture.
