The Official PSX2Central "I got my Gamecube!" thread!

I got my gamecube!  Its a Jet Black GC from Target!  I waited from 3:30 to 8.  Ive only slept 3 hours and I\'ve got school tomorrow!  w00t!

not shure this belongs here in off topic , but ill wait to see if people start to reply to this first.

if it\'s anything near intelligent enough ill move it.

My brother got a GC from Babbages. Despite his preorder, they didn\'t have Rogue Leader or Super Monkey ball, so the only game he has now is Madden. He\'s been playing nonstop though.

I have a story for this one..  Okay so I go out sunday at around 10:30...  After staying up till 4:00am to watch the huge Meteor shower (which is another story)  

So I go to the mall..  Go to Circuit City who just opened 25mins ago, SOLD OUT...  Damn, I hope this is not going to be the setting for the day.  I was about to leave the mall and go try WalMart and K-mart.  But I decided just to check on Kaybee..  

Okay so I go to KAYBEE and WHOAAA they got like 12 of them on the shelf.  So thats good. I found one.  "I\'ll take a purple one and that Luigi game"  store "Well you have to buy 4 games"  "No, I don\'t want 4 games"  Long story.  It was a battle back and forth.  I argued that if I went and bought that beach ball over there that they can\'t force me to buy a pool, sand, and a bathing suit if I did not want to.  They still did not budge.  So I said fine.  Whats your return policy on games??  They said 30 days and un-opened.  I said find I will buy those 4 games now and return 3 of them!!!  

The face of the manager started turning red with frustration, and I knew I would be breaking him soon..  But then the guy next to me said ToysRus had plenty of systems.  Cool, told the manager to piss off and left.

Went to Toys R Us who had about 90 of them.  Bought it, the game, went home and was happy.  

I bought this for my sister for Christmas, of course I have to do some quality controll on it, you know, make sure it works alright!

k-man, what KayBee tried was illegal.  You should report them and I\'m glad you said that to the manager b/c that\'s priceless.

I thought I put this in the right forum...I guess it was just being up since 3:30 in the morning messing with my head.  BTW, Prisons of the Maw is annoying as heck.

Stuck on Prisons Of Maw also, The next mission "Razor" is supposed to be extremely hard, then the ones after that make it look like child\'s play, and remember this game is stuck on easy difficulty now..........wait till Ace.....

I have a Gamcube and Luigi\'s Mansion. I\'ve played it about 6 hours and I\'m close to beating it. I\'ll probably sell luigi\'s mansion on ebay in a couple days. Then comes the good stuff...SSB:M, ED, and Pikmin! I can\'t wait for SSB:M! I really don\'t understand how people can play SSB and not like it! It\'s impossible! I like exclamation points!

I got SWRL.I am not  a bis StarWars fan.I got it for the graphics.They are great,but I don\'t see a great game coming to the cube for a long time.Kay-Bee tried that bundle garbage with me.I did the same thing ,I got it at Toys r us.The controller is sweet.Not quite dual shock but better than Xbox(yuck).My Xbox controllers keep coming loose and pausing the game.They are made with a connection in the middle ,so if you pull the system,the cord will disassemble before the system falls.Both of my controllers pause the game every once in a while .The screen says controller is out ,to replug it and press start.You don\'t have to replug it,just hit start,but it is a pain in the ass.
