""Yes, Halo has scored 9.7 from IGN and Gamespot, which is what our beloved Metal Gear Solid 2 got, so I guess it\'s only natural for PS2 gamers to want to play it. Of corse those loyal PS2 fans who don\'t wish to purchase an Xbox could grab a copy of it for their PC, but you would of corse need a very beefy PC, therefore it may be out of their price range. Well, worry no more my friends, our lord and saviour Sony are working on a new secret project which is supposedly a "Halo Killer". Can you all remember a certain game that was titled as a "Zelda Killer"? Yes, Dark Cloud, and if I remember correctly it didn\'t even come close to killing it, or even hurting it for taht matter.

So the possibility of the new project being crap is there, but with something this big on their hands I highly doubt it and would put money on this game being one of the best ever. Thank god for Sony. Stay tuned for more news on this new and exciting project from Sony...""

woa, sounds great. hope they reveal some more info soon, because I have absolutely no idea what kind of a game they are talking about.

As for Sony... A lot of money is being put into the GetAway, which should be one of those killer apps.

ok..I LOVE MY PS2!! love it...end of story.

but there is no game out there that can kill Halo. Just like there is no game that can kill GT3 or the MGS series. Some games are just great no matter what console they are on or who makes them.

ok end of rant...but please...don\'t consider it a "Halo Killer"

9.7 is good... for a FPS, but quite frankly, I\'m sick of FPS.  On a more positive note, MGS2 goes above and beyond Halo, and yes, I\'ved played Halo, and yes, for an extensive time.  MGS2 has a whole bunch of elements to it, Halo is pretty much a straight foward FPS.

I\'m not saying Halo is bad... far from it, I\'m just saying it\'s no Half-Life or Unreal Tournament(PC).  Halo got too high of a score, especially from IGN.

Yup it sounds like its Planetside, things have been a bit quite from this game for sometime and this could be some latest news just in.

but i feal that they (who ever it was) shouldent of entitle it "HALO killer"

I dont feel PS is a HALO killer either..
Its more of a mix breed between HALO and TRIBES 2 (IMO)

Mix breed of Halo and Tribes 2 can only be good..
2 bad Im getting tired of FPS.. :(

Maybe when this game releases my interest has gone up?

It\'s becoming quite apparent that most people are getting sick of FPS.  Half-Life set the benchmark, and no one has surpassed it.  Maybe a HL2 will fix that.

A Planetside port would make me a very happy gamer.  I had planned on possibly updating my computer for this game, now maybe I won\'t have to :)
