Smackdown 3 Reveiw - Off Topic Only!

im not gonna bother to describe it all right now... maybe in a later post... but the basic game:
Cons:
1. Really Bad Announcing
2. So-so graphics
3. Story Mode ( 4 matches long!!!! lol... )
Pros:
1. Great Create A Wrestler
2. Great list of matches
3. real entrence videos and music
4. Awsome multiplayer game

Graphics: 7.0 / 10
Sound: 3 / 10
Features: 9 / 10
Lasting Appeal: 7 / 10
Overall: 7 / 10

the story mode is only 4 matches long?

OK that settles it.  I am getting an X-box and Raw is War.  If the career mode is only 4 matches that is stupid.

Ok... I want to have a go of it myself and see if your judgments have credibility in them. One opinion is not enough.

hold on deadly hamster, now, I agrree that the commentating is bad like with, and I\'m serious here...  "we are ready for A TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP match between THE ROCK and STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN and THE APA.  This is going to be A GREAT MATCH UP."

The thing that pissed me off was...

Anyway, commentating is terrible.  Ok, SOUND, music is wonderful.  Great background music.

The controls are still very much simplistic.

Ok, I disagree with what you said about story mode.  It\'s not great but listen out.  Story mode isn\'t 4 matches long, after you do your series of matches, that\'s one storyline.  Choose your character again to continue with storymode lol, did you read the manual?  Silly Hamster.  BTW, their allowing you to change characters.  So, that\'s not a bad thing... THAT\'S A GOOD THING.

Graphics... eh... they\'re not bad, they\'re just not that great.  Entraces are the best ever though.  Why would you be worried so much about graphics when you are having so much fun.  THE FUN FACTOR IS UNBELIEVABLE.

So, no, this game has it\'s ups and downs, but it\'s a god damn good game!

billy gunn , when u select your previous chaarcter , you either defend belt for 1 match ( if you won belt ) or you start all over ( if you didnt win a belt ) and i too am taking a liking tot the story mode , but its more of an adventure to find the diffrent paths you can take to the belts so far i have unlocked:

Ultimate Submission: Used Benoit to get to World Title Match

Rhyno: Asked Hebner to follow me to count the 1-2-3 in 24/7 ruling , i was using a create-a-wrestler

Tajiri: declined the first time regal asked me if i wanted a Euro-title shot.

Jerry Linn: yes he is in the game.... i got him by  losing the title match with benoit after i declined the rematch 2 times.

and thats all ( besides the moves and entrence stuff ) ive gotten so far.

I bought the game today.  I played with it for about 2 hours.  I can\'t re-create my old wrestler from Smackown2 very well.  The heads are awful.

The moves are all the same with about 6 new ones.  The characters of Rock and HHH are awesome, but your create a wrestler looks like micro-waved crap.

This has only whet my appetite for RAW is WAR for X-box.

Has anyone done any moves through the table besides the ones you could do in Smackdown 2?

Basically this game is just a re-make of Smackdown 2.  It wasn\'t worth $50.

despite the many problems of this game... i still like it . table matchs have always sucked in the SD series so i wasnt expecting good table stuff. there many more moves in this game , and they have the spinnarooni and the RVD double thumb taunts in the game. Its story mode is more of a thing to find out how to unlock evrything wich i like. im changing my grade of the game to a 8.0 / 10

Yes it is still fun; of course it was fun as Smackdown 2.

I\'m in it for the caw and you have to give a cheesy name to your dude.

Also I just checked the THQ site and Story mode is for 1 belt.  Once your wrestler has a belt he can\'t be in another story mode unless he loses the belt.  So you have to throw a match.
