why..??

I can understand performance mods, but not accestetics..

I would like to add some super cooling thing.  I have been thinking about it for some time now..  Liquid Nitrogen, something along that line..

I looks good though, just not my cup of tea..

I think it looks great, i hate the look of my case, it is bland, and ugly, just like any other case.

I\'ve been thinking about modding my lil tower, since I\'m about to buy me another tower I don\'t have to get it perfect.

I suggest you check this site out http://www.virtual-hideout.net/cool_case/ it\'s the cool case gallery of a site deticated to case modding, some seriously crazy, well done and some not so well done stuff there. You can send in your pics since the guys over there will accept anything.

And there\'s a forum aswell.

nice :)

I have seen someone painting a normal case black, adding some blue LEDs and a blue ps2 like stand. It looked pretty cool

I saw this case on a TV show where this guy did a kind of H.R Giger-type alien thing. It was airbrushed and had hoses hiding all the cables. His monitor was the same way. It looked F-n\' sick, but I can\'t imagine spending that much time on an asthetic mod.

Ahhh, prices aren\'t too bad.

Still, I wouldn\'t spend my money on it. :)

This would probly qualify as my favourite case mod evarr
It\'s just so cool, this was once an InWin Q500 until this guy got his hands on it.

Pic one cool
Pic two even more cool, start and reset buttons embedded into the skull.
Pic three stealth mod I\'d like to try this one
Pic four
Pic five
Pic six I like how he compacted the IDE cables, that\'s some delicate work of you want it done right. And the dustfilter on his hsf, provided it must be cleaned regularly so it won\'t hinder the airflow but it will get a lot easier to clean. And lookie, he almost has the same mainboard as me, he has the KT7A-RAID while I have the KT7-RAID, but the difference between the kt133 and the kt133a chipset isn\'t that great.
Pic seven He did the power cables aswell, although they aren\'t as difficult to do as the IDE cables.
Pic eight He should be getting some serious cooling with this monster. I have seen some more extreme coolong idea\'s. But most of those have seriously overdone it.

This case rules. Here\'s the guy\'s list of mods
- Cut out all metal fan grills
- Put 120mm blowholes for front-bottom intake and back-top exhaust
-Three piece lucite window on side, with 120mm intake and chrome molding, and top window
-Duplicolor Gunmetal/Silver blended paintjob on the outside
-Metallic Blue paintjob on the inside
-Also painted PSU, and all card cover plates
-Rewired power and reset switches, and power led
-Stealth CD-RW
-8 Port RCA 12v/off/7v Baybus, with temp probe monitoring case temp
-rerouted sound ports to front of case, with alternating headphones/speakers port
-added 2 extra usb ports to the front of the case
-lots of cable management..making things neater..loomed all power and data cables...made my own single device floppy cable
- 2 x 108cfm 120mm deltas blowing in, 1 120mm delta blowing out, 1 80mm blowing out + PSU
-ghetto panty-hose filters on all intake and cpu fans
-finally, did a lot of stuff to the front bezel with bondo...you\'ll have to see the pics
