Something I noticed about the Xbox kiosks
« on: November 25, 2001, 02:02:30 PM »
I was at Circuit City earlier and I noticed they just use Panasonic TVs and just put a little Microsoft logo over the Panasonic logo.  I would know since I own the 27inch version of what they use.  Some useless information...enjoy:D

The funny thing is..

They were infact Sony Wega TVs..

One story I remember is a guy went in to play the Xbox. And he saw a MS or XBOX logo over the TV logo.. And when he took it off it said Sony..
Then he got thrown out..

Well, MS isn\'t contesting the fact that Sony makes great TVs.  Sony does make great TVs.  The point is that the xbox has the capabilities to take advantage of the features of those Sony TVs.  The PS2 doesn\'t.

Does MS make Tv\'s? No? Well, I \'ll be damned. . . Whats the point of this? I mean, MS has never went around bashing every Sony product in the world. So, yes it is possible there have been Xbox kiosk\'s hooked to a Sony Wega...SO what?

Something I noticed about Xbox kiosks:

50% of the two I\'ve seen don\'t work.
the earthquake hits the theater
but the operetta lingers
then the piano lid comes down
and breaks his ****ing fingers

I saw an Xbox demo TV labeled "Microsoft" a few days ago, as well as a N64 demo TV labeled "Nintendo" about two years ago.
