18 Wheeler?
« on: November 26, 2001, 04:53:55 PM »
Sorry if this subject has been posted recently....but I couldn\'t perform a search...apparently not enough letters???

Anyway...anyone have this game yet?  Understandably, this is an arcade game...  Is it fun?  Have you played it with the FF Logitech wheel, and if so, how did the wheel react to jack-knifes, etc.?  If you\'ve only rented it, did you like it enough to buy it (replayability)?

Just curious!  Thanks.

Okay, nearly a month since I\'ve posted this...  No replies...not in nearly 20 days.  No one has played this game yet???  After playing Burnout with my Logitech FF wheel, I gotta believe this game would be a blast...but in all fairness, I\'m curious what members here think of it having played the home version...

I\'ve since run a search and find that the last post was related to June...  Again, someone has surely played this game.  Please offer a review if you have.  Thanks in advance!:D

18 Wheeler, American Pro Trucker? Is there a PS2 version of it? I\'ve been looking everywhere for the Dreamcast version and I can\'t find it. Dunno if it was even released. Looks fun as hell tho from the Extended Play preview I saw of it.

BTW - I like the Duke Nukem pic ya got. I wonder if ddaryl will let me have one with the Go Go dancers? "Shak\'em Baby!"

yup i have played it     and with GTforce too.

It\'s fun to play with the wheel, i think with a controller it is less fun (like burnout) but yeh i dunno....

wouldn\'t recommend buying it

I have it for my Dreamcast and it\'s a fun game.  But once you beat it there\'s not much replay value.  One of my recent Playstation magazines has a preview for it.  It should be coming to PS2.

Welp.  I decided to purchase it this evening...  I had coupons & Geoffery Dollars so I got 18-Wheeler, Star Trek: Elite Force, and Smuggler\'s Run 2 all for $61.42 :D:D:D  Figured, if 18-Wheeler doesn\'t have much replay, I\'ll sell it off and get the other two for roughly $30 total...not too shabby.  But again, I\'ve dug Burnout quite a bit, so perhaps 18-Wheeler will play similarly & I\'ll want to keep all three...$20/game ain\'t bad either...:p

Welp, I purchased the game (mostly to make sure I could get use of a $10 off if purchase $100 at TRU coupon...) .  After this thread & review of the following site\'s review, I think I\'m glad the cellophane is still on the game.  I\'m going to exchange it for something else this weekend.
