Is Fifa 2002 worth buying, and is it any better than 2001?

No, get Pro Evolution Soccer instead!

Or if you live in the US just get FIFA 2001.

i\'ve already got fifa 2001 so what should i get instead, or is it at all better than 2001

I\'ve had Fifa 2002 for the Playstation 2 and it\'s good but it\'s also very frustrating to play as the power bar which comes up at the bottom when you pass and shoot gets dead frustrating.
It\'s ok but after an hour you realise it\'s just the same old run through the defence and score easily (10 goals a game)
I\'m a huge fan as you know by my name but as I own Pro Evolution Soccer now I\'d say **** the brilliant graphics on Fifa 2002 and buy PES for it\'s brilliant gameplay, true realism and realistic graphics...
If you find PES hard to play I\'d recommend This Is Football 2002 which is also better than Fifa Football 2002 but nowhere near as good as Pro Evolution Soccer.

FIFA is not a very good footie game IMO

get Pro Evolution Soccer  instead, I\'ve also heard some good things about This is football 2 from SCEE, the first one rocked!

get pro evoulution soccer!!!!!! its amaizingly good!!!! its like real football, once you play on 3 stars, it gets harder, the controls are hard at first but end up so much better than fifa or any other football game, only real life is better!!!

And I meant Fifa 2002 in my earlier post, not 2001. Sorry.

But as some of the other guys said try looking for This Is Football 2002. It has got some mighty fine reviews as well.

FIFA 2002 is way more realistic than FIFA 2001 so if you want a more realistic soccer game get it. I think FIFA 2002 is the best soccer game we can get here in America. To bad PES or WE5 are not going to be release here:(.
