the game rocks on single player, easily Id\'s best game
you can play single player or multiplayer, but i prefer single in this one

im running a P4 1500 with 256 RIMM and a geforce 3 so the graphics are outstanding

i\'ve played the multiplayer tests to death of this game. The single player also is excellent. A must have for any FPS fan IMO.
Nice card btw mm :)

Yes, TV and DVD picture often have aliasing issues, and the better the TV, the better the chance you will spot them. Luckily, TV tube by it\'s nature does not have perfectly square pixels and the pixel edges are slightly blurred, which in conjuction with tiny black scanlines that appear between each row and pixel column, effectively eliminate most of these problems. That\'s why console games look so much better in 640x480 than PC games in a same resolution - a monitor screen has much sharper pixels than a TV, especally being physically much smaller .

Other problem that some games have is a \'comb\' effect that results in desynchronizing of even and odd horizintal lines, which is a result of interlaced picture that is drawn from a halved frame buffer.

I\'m not familiar with term \'texture shimmering\'? Can someone clarify what exactly is that? I assume that\'s an artifact that happens with textures on some moving objects when it looks like if the texture flows around the object for a second, or moves out of place for a moment before restoring it\'s position? If so, I don\'t think that any of the recent PC or console games have that problem anymore. It should be long eliminated with advent of new graphics hardware which allows for much more precise texture mapping.

Seven - The Dreamcast runs at 640x480 as well, and I can tell you now that games like Soul Calibur and Sega Rally 2 (just to name a few) have almost NO jaggies, even on small, then sprites like wire etc.

The fact is, with GT3, is that it uses a bizarre type of Anti Aliasing. Yes, it uses FSAA, but it only anti alias\'s about 2 metres infront of you and your car. You can see (if you look hard enough) where it begins. It is particularly evident when following a wire fence to the left or right of you, in the background, the fence is REALLY jaggie, but as you get closer, you can see the anti aliasing \'kick in\'.

Anyway, I seen WRC today and its got NO jaggies. I cannot wait to see it on my SONY Monitor (68cm) with RGB!
