How many of you save money?

I wish I would have saved a lot more cash when I was a kid.  It got me thinking how much do you all save?  What percentage of your income do you keep in either a savings account/401k, etc...

I keep 12% + whatever i can do by the end of the year.  

Except for this year that is.  My wife quit her job when we had Logan and it\'s pretty tough to take 35,000 out of your budget.  We\'ll be back in the thick of things though next year when she goes back to work.

Well for now..  But I am spending it all..  hee hee..  You know buying a house..  Gonna drain me for awhile but its an investment.  So in the long run I am not losing my money but hopefully going to get a lot more!

But I also invest is stocks, which right now my portfolio is about 0.  No gains no losses.  Which sucks, but for the last 6 months its been in the red, so I guess I can\'t complain that much.

I am only 23, but I should be investing in 401k, whish I was, but I will get on that soon enough, I plan on doing it after I buy a house, I need all the capital I can get right now.

Plus I like to play games and mod my car to much to invest in 401k.  But I am starting my own business so that I can get some extra income and save that!

I have 401k I put a measly 6% into. (after that my 50% employer match is out) , plus another 3-5% employer contribution at yaer\'s end.
Other than that, I think beer sneaks into my wallet and spends all my cash.   :laughing:

Plus there\'s way too may cool big boy toys to buy.

Yeah I got a job when I was 12, now I\'m 15 and I have 3800 bucks. I\'ve spent about half so if I kept my piggy bank\'s ass cork shut I would have 7600!

I save like crazy.

Put a large chunk of my money in a term deposit account at a good interest rate.

Most of my money goes to my addiction. Videogames :eyemouth:

I had a nice roll going in my savings account when I started my job 1 year ago.  Since then, I\'ve had a pay cut and my auto-accident and buying a new car have taken a chunk out of that and I\'m still in litigation about car rental bills.  But I plan to put away some more cash as soon as the bills are paid.

Well im a student now so I don\'t really get an income. However I have a student loan and from that I get so much a week which I bugdet and try and stick too (most of the time going over).
