It\'s pretty cool, you play with 4 characters..it just seemed too easy compared to 1 and 2 IMO. I did like it though. The new weapons kick arse!!!!! Graphix are marginally better...not much tho. Kewl new levels...storyline isnt too bad. All in all im glad I have it, I just wish it was harder.

Much more fun with the new weapons and new play levels.

Ive got this as well.

Same type of game as the previous 2, same control type and cool story.

Really felt this should have been given the ps2 treatment.
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

I suspect that they were pretty far into production when the PS2 came out.  Then again, isn\'t Syphon Filter made by Sony?  You\'d think they\'d be well informed.  Anyway, I\'m going to get this game as soon as I\'m done with the several PS2 games I haven\'t even played yet.  I REALLY hope we\'ll see a SF installment on PS2.  Gotta love headshots and infrared sniper rifles.

Developers chose to end Syphon Filter series on PS1 b/c they started on PS1.

I rented it and it\'s cool but I guess after playing the first 2 there wasn\'t much new in there.

I don\'t know...I tend to give Sony some credit here...  Once again, they\'re willing to throw some support (i.e. a good title/game) to the PS1 owners out there that can\'t spring for a PS2 yet.  And given the PS2\'s ability to play PS1 games & smooth textures, well...it was a worthy attempt in my book.  Besides, we\'ve got hordes of great PS2 games that are each tugging for our time...

Anyway, just my opinion...

I think those people with PS1\'s, once they heard the game called... MGS2! They ran as fast as they could to the nearest game store and bought themselves a Ps2 and the game. So I dont think that was the case, but... Im not very dissappointed... its nice to get that Ps1 flavor around again.
